"Seconds from the end, what's it gonna be? Pull the trigger, bitch." -Suicide Silence

*Azel's POV*

Two days had passed since he got the letter, and in that entire frame of time I couldn't get him to whisper one word about what it said.

I could tell it was eating him up, that he needed someone to talk to about it, but no matter what I said he still wouldn't tell me anything.

Thankfully, I never had to leave his house. Though I'm not sure how, Lloyd's Mom convinced mine to let me stay the week with them, and I planned to enjoy every minute of it.

I didn't like the fact that Alistair was pretending to be okay, but I was no longer going to press the issue. He had asked me not to, and because I loved him, I agreed.

Walking hand in hand in hand on our way to the lunch room, Lloyd and Logan walked just in front us maintaining a slightly faster pace.

Laughing at a joke one of them had said, I cought something from the corner of my eye, but as I looked back it was gone.

"Everything okay, Zel?" Alistair asked, stoping in place.

"Yeah, but I thought I just saw Gary..."

"You know, I thought I saw him the other day, as well. It looked like he had a notepad too."

Walking into the lunch room, we met up with Lloyd and Logan at the table who had already gotten us our food.

"Hey guys, I've got a question. Have you noticed Gary following us around?"

"I TOLD you I wasn't being paranoid!" Lloyd yelled, slapping Logan's hand. "Yeah, he's been following us around too. It looks like he's been taking notes, or something."

"You don't think he's planning something, do you?"

Alistair's voice dropped an octive as he voiced his question. Pulling me over onto his lap, I chuckled at how protective of me he had become.

"I don't think he's that stupid." Logan stated, picking up an apple. "At least, he better not be."

I sat there in Alistair's lap trying to figure out why he's been following us around, and where he had even disappeared too. We hadn't seen him since we last went to the restaurant he worked at.

Playing the conversation that took place back then as best I could remember it, I felt my eyes widen in shock as the pieces fell into place.

"His sisters' gay!"

I almost yelled the sentence as it left my mouth, causing everyone to jump. Since I was sitting on Alistair's lap, my outburst made his body jerk sending both of us to the ground with him landing on top of me.

Pushing his lips to mine before picking me back up, he set me back on his lap as we made it to the table. Smiling wickedly as a plan for revenge flowed through my mind, I ignored everyones question as to what had me so happy, and began to tell them my idea.

"Guys. I just thought of a way to get back at Gary!"

"I already know one, Zel. I could just beat the shi-"

"One that doesn't involve violence." I quickly said, cutting Alistair off.

He grumbled something I couldn't understand then started kissing down my neck, distracting me from telling everyone my idea.

"Well, he's been following us around taking notes, right? I was thinking we could fuck with what he has been writing."

"Like, steal his papers and write something else?" Logan asked, raising his eyebrows.

"No, like make him write down weird things." Lloyd stated, returning my grin. "I'm totally in!"

If there was ever any doubt as to why Lloyd was my best friend, this would have cleared it up. Even now, I could tell he was running a million ideas in his head, each one worse than the last.

"Alright, here's what we do." I stated, taking Alistair's had in mine. "When ever you see him with his note pad, hell if you even think he's listening, say something weird."

"Weird like what?" Alistair asked, smiling at me.

"Anything. Just mess with his head. It'll be beyond fun."

After everyone agreed and the bell sounded over head for our lunch to be over, me and Alistair started for the doors but stopped as he pulled me off to the side.

"Azel, I've been meaning to ask you: what do you want for your birthday?"

"Babe, my birthday isn't till May. Its February."

"Just tell me."

"I can't. I honestly haven't thought about it yet. Why?"

"I'm just curious." He said, winking at me.

"Uh huh, spit it out. What are you planning?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about." He said smiling. Kissing my forehead and walking away before I could object, I stood there in the lunch room, thinking about what he was no doubt, planning.

Short chapter I know. And unfortunately, most are going to be this length for a while. My phone is being a cunt. Sorry everyone. :/
