"Little angel, go away, come again some other day. The devil has my ear today, I'll never hear a word you say." -A Perfect Circle

*Alistair's POV*

I could hardly breath anymore. Pleasure shot through my body each time his tongue raced across my neck. I wanted to do something for him. To please him in a way he wasn't used to, but he held my arms down, over my head.

I wasn't used to seeing this side of him. It was a nice change, but I could see straight through his facade. He was nervous, unsure, even scared. You couldn't tell by looking at his face, but his eyes, he's never been able to lie through them.

I know he wanted to do this for me, but I didn't like the fact he was making himself feel different to do so. I couldn't take it anymore. Lifting my body up to his, I kept us as close together as I could, then cradled him in my arms.

"Why'd you stop me, love?"

His voice was weaker than normal. Though most wouldn't have noticed, it rang throughout my ears. He was always terrible at hiding things from me, something I was slightly thankful for.

"Azel, I don't want you to make yourself uncomfortable, just because of me."

"But I wanted to help..."

"Not at the expense of your happiness. What about this made you uncomfortable?"

He sat cuddled close to my chest, debating his words and how to say them out loud. I could tell he was even more nervous then before, but once he let it out, I might be able to help him.

"Its just...not us. We don't just have sex, we make love. I don't mind being dominant, just not like this."

I chuckled slightly at his words. None of what he was was funny in any way, but he just sounded so adorable. I wanted to just kiss his lips over and over, and thats what I did.

Laying back down, I pulled him on top of me and began to kiss down his neck. I felt his lower body grinding against my lower body, once again sending waves of pleasure through my body.

"Babe, are you sur-"

"Just follow me, my love."

I could tell he was nervous, even a little scared, but there was truth behind all of his words. I planned to show him, to make him see that even though he was in charge, we could still share our love.

His body trembled above mine as his lips made their way to mine. I savored every taste. Each time his tongue danced across mine, my body would move closer to him, asking for him to show me what its like to be in his position.

"Would you guys keep it down? We can hear you over the movie!"

A burst of laughter escaped my mouth as Azel started to blush. I didn't realise how loud we were being, and from the look on his face, I could tell he hadn't either.

I could tell he was torn, debating whether or not to continue, or just stop for now. After telling him we could pick this up later tonight, I pulled his lips to mine then held him close.

"Alistair, there's someone at the door for you!" Lloyd yelled, breaking the silence that had taken over us.

Getting up and taking Azel's hand, we left my bedroom and headed out to the front door to see who had come.

The woman stood on the porch wearing the usual light and dark blue uniform for postal service. Curly blonde hair fell softly from her face, while her lips held a permanent smile.

"I have a letter for you."

After thanking her and closing the door, I looked to see who had sent me something, then froze as my eyes came across the name.

"Babe, are you okay?"

I could hear the concern in his voice, but I couldn't find the words to reply. As it was, I could hardly stop my hands from shaking, let alone talk.

He hadn't spoken to me since he told me to get out, since he sent me to live with Lloyd, so why change that now?

He said it was my fault they were gone, that if I hadn't rushed them, my parents, his children, they would still be alive.

"Alistair, I'm getting worried. Please talk to me."

"I need some time alone, love. Excuse me."

Rushing back to my room, I closed and locked the door before he could object. I didn't want to keep this from him, but I wouldn't be able to find the words tell him everything at the moment.

I could feel my hands trembling more and more as I lefted the letter to open it. I was scared. Finally gathering the courage, I tore open the paper and began to read.

I'm sorry this chapter is so short, but this is going to be the stepping stones for the next few chapters. They will be the normal length soon enough, so don't worry.
