My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 3

It was another brand new day and Luhan and Kai is preparing to go school. Kai decided to hang out with Kyungsoo today. So he'll be leaving Sehun to Luhan.

When Luhan and Kai arrived at school , they saw Kyungsoo , Sehun , Minseok and Jongdae. Kai walked towards Kyungsoo and held his hand , pulling him outside the school. Sehun was shocked but he was left alone with Luhan. Luhan explained everything to Sehun and Sehun simply nodded. Kai arrived at a park , quite near the school but its definitely outside school.

"We have class today , Kai"

"I need to tell you something" Kai said

"W-what i-is i-it? Kyungsoo stuttered

"I think im in love with you. I know i barely know you and we have met each other for not even a week and im already confessing to you. Yes , i know its stupid also to say such things but honestly , i have never been in a relationship. Yes , it was love at first sight when i first saw you. Ive never had this sort of feelings around someone until i saw you. You can choose to reject me now but i wont let you g-"

Kai was stopped by Kyungsoo's lips. He felt his face fallen into a deep shade of red. But Kyungsoo pulled off and said.

"I love you too" Kyungsoo blushed

"I need to tell you something , Kai.
I think your brother is in love with Sehun."

Kai was shocked. He couldnt believe his ears.
His brother is in love with his best friend.

"It couldnt be..."Kai said

"Yes , whenever i talk about Sehun in front of Luhan , he either blush or stuttered. In front of other guys he seem so confident but whenever Sehun's name appear , it felt like he shrunk" Kyungsoo said

"Maybe ... But Sehun is my "best" friend. How could i let my best friend date my brother? He might not be the best for him." Kai said in a worried voice

"Have you seen Sehun been attracted to Luhan in any way?" Kyungsoo asked

It took Kai a while to reply but he said 'yes.'

"He tried to know everything he could to know about Luhan. I asked him why he needed to know but he didnt tell me. He just said he was curious. But i could tell from his eyes , that he actually have feelings for Luhan. But its only the first day! How could they both have feelings for each other just on the first day?!" Kai said

"Its normal for that to happen , just like us. Maybe you could pretend not to know about this. Let them get to know each other more. See whether Sehun would protect Luhan no matter what happens. If he manage to prove himself , you have to let Luhan go. He needs freedom also." Kyungsoo said

"But ever since Luhan's last relationship , he had problem trusting guys. He locked himself up for days. I couldnt let him get into another relationship that will hurt him. I couldn't see him get hurt again , he went through too much in his last relationship." Kai's voice was breaking cause of his tears.

Kyungsoo hugged Kai tightly

"Its okay babe. Im sure Sehun will prove himself , I know it. Let them be okay."

Kai nodded and they left to walk around the park. They didnt want to get back to school.
