My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 1

It was the beginning of school in Seoul High. Everyone was walking like zombies after the summer holidays. No one felt like going back to school , especially 17 year old , Luhan. He was bullied because of his nerdy looks since young. And because of his appearance and some other reasons , his ex-asshole boyfriend dumped him. But he changed , a lot this time.

Luhan left home with his brother , Kai. They wasnt excited for school at all. No one ever is.

"Do i look weird in these clothes , Kai?" Luhan asked

"Nah , its way better than last time. And i like your clothing. You seem to look hotter than me already. " Kai replied

"Dont worry , i wont steal any attention. All the attention is gonna be on you , its always like this. " Luhan said smiling

When both Kai and Luhan entered the school walking down the hall way , all eyes was on them. Him actually.

"Are we taking too much attention?" Luhan asked

"Not we , you. They are probably surprised by your appearance. You were the most nerdy in the school , changing your appearance all of a sudden definitely gain you lots of attention." Kai replied.

"Wow , i definitely dont feel comfortable with these stares." Luhan said looking down

Previously , Luhan wore clothes that no one would ever wear. Not even his grandmother. But returning back to school this time , he wore a grey tee , black ripped jeans and white Adidas sneakers. Everyone has to admit that Luhan is damn hot right now.

[They continued walking until they got to class].

          "Lets get to class shall we?" Kai said

"Yeah , my first class is mathematics. What about you?" Luhan asked Kai

"Um , Science." Kai groaned

Well , Kai hated science ever since young. He always fails science and never finds it interesting when everyone in his class does. His teacher , Mr Heng likes making Kai answers questions knowing that he's the only one who doesnt know the answer. On the other hand , Luhan loves mathematics the most. He always scores a 'A' for mathethematics , even when he doesnt studies for it.

          When they reached their respective classes , they find a empty seat and settled down. Kai who found a seat next to a cute boy and Luhan only had a choice because theres only a seat available , which is next to Oh Sehun. Kai started a conversation with the cute boy.

"Hi , im Kim Jongin but you can call me Kai. Whats your name?"

"Im Do KyungSoo , you can call me D.o or Kyungsoo. Im fine with both."

"I'll call you Kyungsoo then , its a pretty name"

"Thanks" Kyungsoo said and he was blushing slightly

Kai realise hes kind of liking this guy. And he would find Kyungsoo staring at him constantly.

Luhan obviously didnt want to talk to the guy next to him because he didnt looked like his interested in a conversation. He look like someone who didnt talk for months. Mathematics was horrible for Luhan that day , he couldnt talk to anyone because Sehun didnt talk nor introduce himself so Luhan just ignored him. But Luhan couldnt admit to himself that Sehun looked hot to him. His dark brown eyes , blonde hair and his clothes. He wore clothes similar to Luhan's , just that he felt that Sehun wore it better since Sehun has longer legs than Luhan.

Science class ended , Kai wasnt really happy because Mr Heng picked on him once again. Even though Kyungsoo didnt ask , he could guess the reason. Both Kyungsoo and Kai left for their second class which was different whereas Luhan and Sehun's class just ended.

Before leaving the class Sehun whispered into Luhan's ears "You looked hot in those clothes" and he smirked after saying and he left for his second lesson. Luhan was taken aback by his words and he found himself blushing. He then quickly stood up and went for his next lesson which was english. Unfortunately , he and Sehun was in the same class again. Sehun saw him but he ignored Luhan. Luhan couldnt bring himself to seat next to Sehun again but i guess it was his unlucky day because the only seat available is next to Sehun. Sehun couldnt help but chuckle lightly when Luhan sat down next to him reluctantly. Luhan then took the initiative to introduce himself.

"Hey , Im Luhan. Whats your name?"

"Did you introduce yourself because of my words just now? Sehun said while smirking once again.

"W-What? N-No.." Luhan was embarassed.

"I shouldnt have introduce myself!" Luhan thought to himsef.

"Im joking. Dont take it too seriously. Im Sehun" Sehun smile lightly

"Why is my heartbeat faster then usual? Luhan thought to himself.

"I guess im just a bit more nervous today" Luhan thought to himself again.

[After class they went for break.]

Kai and Luhan met each other again during break.

"How's your first day in school?" Kai asked Luhan

"Embarrassing" Luhan replied looking down ,
Kai didnt want to ask more knowing that Luhan would get more embarassed.

*Silence*

"Oh and i made a new friend while coming to the canteen , i bumped onto him accidentally while walking. And he was alone so i decided to hang out with him , you know. Kai said

"Oh wow , whos that"

Kai saw Sehun walk past and pulled Sehun towards him. It was a coincidence though.

"Him. His name is Sehun. Sehun meet my brother , Luhan" Kai introduced.

"Umm , i know him. His from my mathematics class and english class." Luhan muttered

"oh , well its even better. It will be less awkward cause im gonna hang out with you guys." Kai said

Its weird hearing from a popular kid says something like this.

Both Sehun and Luhan widen their eyes hoping Kai was joking about what he said earlier. But Kai is not joking , he was serious when he said that his gonna hang out with them without them even agreeing. Kai then saw Kyungsoo and he asked Kyungsoo to join them , which Kyungsoo gladly did.

"Guys , this is Kyungsoo. I seat beside him for science." Kai told Sehun and Luhan.

"Hey , Im Luhan , Kai's brother.

"Im Sehun.

"Im D.o Kyungsoo. You can call me D.o or Kyungsoo."

"I'll call Kyungsoo then" -Luhan and Sehun said in unison.

They were blushing slightly but they pretended they werent.

Four of them walked together to buy food , when they finish buying , they settled down on a table perfect for four. Kai made Luhan seat with Sehun because he wanted to seat with Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo didnt know but he just sat down next to Kai. It was pretty obvious and it made Sehun exchange glances with Luhan. Both Sehun and Luhan then chuckled. They realise that and stared into each others eyes. Time seem to have froze for the both of them. They broke their eye contact when they felt like someone staring at them and it was Kai and Kyungsoo looking at them. They finished they lunch and went on to the rest of the lessons. Kai and Luhan then went home , dead tired.
