1. Fiarinnia Has Fallen

Screams.

Blood.

It all happened so fast.

"Yusuki!!" I yell as the battery soldiers pull me away from my bleeding guardian, the blood seeping through her grey shirt, staining the golden armor she wore. I try to pry free from the harsh, cold grip but to no avail, the magitek soldier's were robots after all. Their metal fingers dug into my arms. "Isabelle! Don't worry about me. I'll find you..." The Guardian choked out as blood comes running down from the side of her head, another wound I did not notice and another wound I desperately wanted to heal.

Forget about me for once and think about your own condition.

Tears run down my pale cheeks as I got dragged into one of the imperial ships, it lifting from the roof and into the sky. The doors slowly closing and I lost sight of the burning Fiarinnia.

3 Hours Earlier: Before the Fall

"Princess!"

I wake up from the sudden yell. I look around and wipe my sleepy eyes. My vision was slightly blurry but it focused on the person who had awoke me from my slumber. His brown eyes staring at me with an unamused expression, clearly not happy with my sudden decision to sleep. "Have I fallen asleep again?" I yawn and look at Xavier, my tutor. He was rather short for a man, with chubby sheeks and grey brown hair. Even if I we're a princess, there was a lot of things a princess like me did not know about. He looks at me and sighs out of frustration and slight irritation. "For the forth time now. Lady Isabelle, I understand that you have more duties now since its the month of the tourists,(The month where people from different cities and kingdoms come to see the Princess and the beauty of her abilities to mend broken bonds.) but please, your education is utterly important." I nod and stretch out, very unladylike for me to do. I turn to look qt rhe stack of books on my desk next to me, a tempted sigh wanted to escape my lips at the sight. "Alright Xavier. I promise to not fall asleep again." I cast him a reassuring smile and he only nods and continues my daily lesson.

After 20 minutes my lessons is over and I head towards the garden to find Yusuki, my trusted Guardian. She has been my guardian ever since I was little. We might be the same age but she acts as if I am still a child. She a warrior from the Tsuki(Moon) clan. A clan of guardians that are trained to protect their Master/Mistress with their life till the very end. I smile as I see her on the open grass, quietly meditating, a thing she does a lot to calm her mind when goes into battle. "It helps me to focus on my enemies attack and figure out theit weak points faster" I lift the edges of my white dress that came flowing down to my ankles and take off my silver heels then softly walk towards her and sit down smiling at her calm expression. I poke her nose and giggle as she scrunched up her nose at the sudden contact.

"Your dress will get dirty Lady Isabelle." I let out a small giggle and watch as she shifted in her spot. "That's the least of my worries. Besides its nice to dirty up sometimes. To break the rules a little." I rarely do such things but when I do, its with Yusuki. Her eyes open to reveal yellow cat-like eyes. Another, strange thing about the Tsuki clan, is that all Guardians have cat like eyes and these whisker marks on their cheeks. They have the same abilities as cats do too.  She had beautiful short black hair and a tanned complexion. She also had a scar across her right eye, a deep cut wound. Yusuki smirks at me and leans forward, staring intently into my sea green eyes causing me to raise an eyebrow at her smirk. "How bout we break the rules more?" She suddenly stood up and pulled out her katana. It was beautiful. The handle had red material on it and a golden ribbon wrapped around it. I stood up and summoned my weapon out of thin air. It was a silver spear, red gems embedded in the middle of it a d a long white ribbon attached at the top of it. The spear was the same length as myself and was called the Spear of Fire. I spun it around and looked at Yusuki. "We haven't fought like this in quiet a while," I cock my hip to the side and placed my hand on my hip too. "Do you think I'll beat you this time?" She stood in her famous fighting stance and grinned. "Maybe, if you get lucky enough." We stood completely still, staring into each other's eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
