Ginny Potter was quite surprised when she found her son and the Malfoy child cuddled up close to each other, Albus' arm thrown across Scorpius' chest.
The boys had seemed to be close at dinner time, inside jokes sprouting up here and there in the conversation, and little nudges of arms, paired with overjoyed grins and soft doe eyes.
But Ginny didn't expect this.
Of course, she was happy for her son.
He found someone that made him happy, and she was glad for him.
But as Ginny had watched her son grow up into his lanky body, and seen his eyes fill with the glory of magic...
She had expected a girl to love him, to be the sparkling white gown to his onyx suit.
She had imagined chatting with her future daughter-in-law, cooking together, and playing cricket with the boys.
She had anticipated little children tumbling around her feet, calling her 'grandma', and an amused mother at their side, softly smiling at her little children's antics.
But, then it occured to Ginny Potter, as if she had just taken a shot of spiked Butterbeer.
How would Harry take the fact that his son was with a boy?
