"He tried to save me?"
The world slowly started to feel empty all over me. Jungkook tried to save me? He blamed himself, because Oppa saved him? All this information was too much that I couldn't function. With my eyes wide open, I looked at Luhan with confusion.
"What happened exactly?"

Ten years ago
"I quit. I'll not do this anymore. I won't participate in this championship."
Jungkook could not believe what Seokjin had said. He wasn't looking at them when he announced his retirement from boxing. He wouldn't lock eyes with Jungkook or with anyone in the room.
It frustrated Jungkook that he wanted to scream in the middle of the room. Jungkook clenched his fist tightly, looking at Seokjin with tears in his eyes.
He suddenly felt betrayed. Seokjin betrayed him.
He promised him that he would win over those bad guys who were bullying him. He promised him that he would train him to defend himself. But he was quitting?
"You can't do this." Jungkook said, looking at Seokjin with bloodshot eyes. "You promised me!!"
"What are you saying, Jin-ah?" Luhan snapped, holding Seokjin's shoulders shaking him. "You won't quit. Even if you didn't make it this year, you could do it next year."
Seokjin smiled at his friend, eyes glittering. Jungkook hated the tears in Seokjin's eyes. It looked as if he was giving up on a lot of things, not only boxing. He had never seen Seokjin this weak before. It broke his heart.
"How could I participate again?" Seokjin raised his arm carefully, showing how much he was hurt. When Haneul had beaten him up, he made sure that Seokjin wouldn't be able to compete in the competition whatsoever.
"It was the thing you love." Luhan said, in a whispering voice.
Jungkook watched both friends as the tears filled their eyes. What? Was Luhan giving up too? It was ridiculous. Jungkook's fist turned white from how strongly he clenched them.
"We can still open the studio we wanted, right?" Seokjin said, looking at Luhan whose face become red as tears spilled down his eyes. "We still do what we love, Han."
"I hate you, man." Luhan punched his friend's arm. Seokjin winced, holding his shoulder as a smile drew over his face.
"Be careful, man."
"You promised." Jungkook said, in fainted voice, but loud enough to catch Seokjin and Luhan's attention.
Both of them looked at Jungkook who was way shorter than them. He didn't even reach their knees. Tears showering his face as he looked at them with so much anger. Luhan never saw this kid like this before.
"You promised me. You said you would protect me. You said that good always won. You said you would win the championship and that you would beat him up for me. YOU LIAR."
"Jungkook---"
"I hate you! I hate liars like you."
Seokjin was about to say something, when Jungkook turned around and ran to the outside. He looked at Luhan and shook his head to his friend who was as surprised as him, before running after Jungkook.
Jungkook Kept running, without stopping, no matter how much Seokjin called him. He wouldn't look back. Seokjin was the one who betrayed him first. He couldn't forgive him.
Running into the woods, it was hard to make directions. Yet, Jungkook never stopped. He ran as fast as he could.
"Yah, Jungkook..." Seokjin yelled behind him, but no use. The little kid wouldn't stop and wouldn't look at him.
