Drew’s POV

I sat in my living room just thinking how did my life change like this, in this short period of time. I mean I gotta girl that, I’m in love with. I looked around and I couldn’t help but to think, where is Liyah. I mean I haven’t seen her since this morning. I checked my phone and I saw no texts or missed calls from her. So I decided to text myself.

We needa talk.

After I saw it sent, there was a knock on the door. I walked over and looked through the peep hole. I saw Mac. I opened the door and he was smiling to hard.

“What’s up boy?” I greeted.

“Man I got something to tell you.” He smiled. “I found a girl.”

“What?” I smiled. “What you trying to say?”

“I think I found the right one.”

“What’s her name?”

“Man I’ll tell you when you let me in.” he laughed, I moved to the side.

“Alright man can I know?” I laughed.

“Her name Diamond.” He smiled, sitting at the table.

“Bad?” I asked.

“Yeah.” He nodded. “She special.”

“How?”

“I don’t know.” He shrugged. “I mean I know I just met her today-“

“Wait!” I yelled. “You just met her today?”

“Yeah.” He nodded.

And she got you sprung like that?” I laughed. “Yeah she have to be special, I have to meet her.”

“When?” he laughed. “I’m having dinner with her Friday.”

“What?” I yelled. “Is that it?”

“Yeah.” He nodded. “We are taking it slow.”

“Who said that?”

“I did.”

“Man I really have to meet her.”

“You can.”

“When?”

“Whenever you ready.” He shrugged. “Just let me know.”

“Alright man.” I nodded.

“So how are you and Liyah?”

“We good.” I sigh. “I think.”

“Why you say that?”

“With that Missy stuff.” I shook my head. “What am I going to do?”

“Man you really fucked her?” Mac asked. “While we was together?”

“I don’t know.” I whispered. “She didn’t say anything.”

“She shouldn’t have to!” he yelled.

“Wait! Don’t flip this on me!” I yelled.

“You know what.” He stood. “Ima go! Cause you pissing me off.”

Before I could say anything else, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw it was Liyah.

“Hello.” I answered.

“What’s up?” she asked.

“Where you been?”

“Excuse you.” She shot at me.
