Hoes ain’t nothing but something for fun,

That’s I hit and don’t trust none

“Drew come on!” my mother yelled. She wants me to go with her in to this dinner party. Let truth be told I really don’t want to go. She said her friend daughter is coming home from college, and I really wanna know what does that has to do with me.

“I’m coming!” I yelled back. I walked out my room wearing some gray slacks, white button down, and black dress shoes. This is not my style. When I made it to the bottom of the stairs I saw my dad standing in the mirror fixing his tie. He looked at me and smiled.

“See you trying to be like your old man.” He smiled. I rolled my eyes and walked to the door. “Ma!” she always rushing me but don’t never be on time. She came down wearing her black dress that stopped at mid-thigh. I heard my dad groan, that’s when I knew I had to get out of here.

We walked outside to the car. Since we had so many cars we just hopped in the truck. As I’m sitting in the back, my phone rung.

“What’s up?” I answered, without looking at the screen.

“That’s how you greet your sister?” she hissed. “Tell mama I’ll have my friend to drop me off at the house.”

“Yeah what eva.” I hung up.

As you can see I am not the only child. I have an annoying little sister, she’s only 15. Thinking she 22. I looked out the window and just thought about a lot of things. I pulled out my headphones and blasted 2 Chianz. Before I knew it I was out like a light.

“Ayy boy!” my dad yelled. “Get up.” I looked up and saw this big house. My mother was walking to the door with my sister behind her. My dad was standing over me with his hands in his pockets. I hopped out the car and walked to the door. My mother knocked and a lady answered looked about a good 32. She was a coca color, had two deep dimples, almond eyes, and a thick frame. “Gabby!” my mother yelled.

“Tish!” she yelled. They did there little hug and let go. “Wow you look good. Come in.” we walked in the house and it was big. About the same size as our house. Everywhere you look you saw red, black, and white. This family is really coordinated. “Liyah! Dwayne!” she yelled.

“Yes dear.” A man said, come down stairs. He looked at us and smiled. My dad walked to him and gave him a handshake. He walked over to his wife and hugged her. “Liyah will be down in a sec.” we all nodded and just stood there.

“Wow! This house is beautiful.” My mother sighs. We all looked around and it was, and big. “You guys love red.” We all giggled.

“Yeah Dwayne play for the heat.” Gabby smiled. “So we really don’t have a choice.” She shrugged. Dwayne pulled her closer and smiled. We all smiled at how cute they are.

“Liyah!” her father yelled.

“Pops I’m coming! I’m coming.” A voice said, walking downstairs. My breath got caught in my throat. This girl was bad. I mean got hips like her mother, dimples to, them bouncy curls flowing down her back, the light make-up brought out her features. Her warm brown eyes connected with her fathers and she smiled. God! That smiled. She walked over to her parents and hugged them both tight. “I’m here.”  She sigh.

“Well this is my son Issa and my daughter Megan.” My mother introduced. I shook all their hands, but when I got to Liyah’s I couldn’t help but to snatch away. This feeling went through my body and I didn’t like it. She cocked her head and giggled. That giggle.

“This is my daughter Aaliyah, but we call her Liyah.” Gabby introduced. “She’s the only child.” Liyah waved at us all and smiled. “Come on so we can go and eat.”

We walked in the dining room and I couldn’t help but to look at her ass. It was looking to right in that dress. When we walked in, I was so focused to where I didn’t know where I was going. Next thing I know I ran into somebody chair and flipped over. I heard giggling and snickering. I hopped up, to see my father and mother furious. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine.” Dwayne waved away. We all sat down. I was next to my mother and my sister. Liyah right next to my sister and they were over there giggling and whispering. “So Issa what do you do?”

“Umm right now sir nothing.” I answered. “I wanna be an artist. I love music.” I smiled. He nodded his head and looked at Liyah.

“What kind?” Liyah asked.

“Huh?” I asked.

“What kind?” she repeated. “I mean it’s all kind of music. Pop, gospel, hip hop & R&B. so what kind you like?”

“I’m into hip hop.” I smiled. She nodded her head and went back to Megan. When she looked down, it’s like she was not into the smile or nothing. I’m falling behind.

We sat and ate dinner and chatted for a little while longer. Liyah just came back from college. She was studying music herself. She has a voice of an angel. She loved the color red and I can really see she is a cool girl. She and Megan really are getting along. All night long she have been laughing and giggling together. I found out she’s having a Welcome Home party. They really want us to come. Right now we are standing outside getting in the car.

“Bye Liyah!” Megan yelled. She waved and Megan came and hugged her. “Can I come over and just hang with you?”

“You sure can.” Liyah smiled. “Just call ahead of time.” Megan nodded and ran back to the car.

“Bye Liyah.” I waved and smiled. She nodded and walked in the house. My dad looked at me and smirked.

“Bye you guys.” My mother waved. “We’ll see you guys later.”

“Bye.” Gabby waved. “Anytime.”

We pulled out to the house. I couldn’t help but to think why I didn’t have Liyah yet. She should be blowing my phone up right now. I should be ignoring her right now. It seem like she doing that to me.

Once we made it to the house, I stripped out of my clothes and laid out on my bed. There was a knock on the door and it was my dad.

“You like her?” he asked.

“Who?” I asked, playing dumb.

“Liyah.” He said. “I saw when you smiled both times she just nodded and walked away.” He snickered. “Any other girl would run and try to kiss you, but her she just walked away.”

“Yeah you right.” I agreed.

“Ya game getting weak.” With that he walked out the door.
