Lady in A Red Hood (On-going)

Chapter 3: Library

First day in school is not that easy,
for a Prince like me who only knows
how to hold a sword. But like what
Zaine told me, I can adjust sooner.
We had an assignment for tomorrow,
so I decided to look for the library.
Since Jack is not around and Zaine
has something to do, i'll find it on my
own.

I walked around and a group of ladies
Are coming in my way.

"H-hi, I greet them. Then they stopped
in front of me while smiling. If don't
mind ladies can I ask you we're is the
library?" I asked them.

"Oh, the library. Just walk straight that
way, then you'll see the gymnasium at
the right then turn left. The library is
in there." the girl replied. Maybe she's
the leader of there group.

I smiled back at here.

"T-thank you..." I said,

"Your welcome, by the way I'm Cara.
She introduced her self so I accept
her hand.

"I'm Eli.... Anyway, I have to go." I
added.

"See you around Eli....

Then started to walk away and find the
library. After a few minutes, I finally
found it. I opened the door and
walked around the book shelf. There's
so many books around. I don't know
what will I choose but first I need to
find the answers with my assignment.
Luckily, I got the right book so I started
to write in on my notes. After a few
minutes, I finished it. So I decided to
look again for some books to read.
I had nothing to do in my room so I
guess books could help me.

As I looked around, I found a history
book and other books related which
I interest the most.

I grabbed it and decided to asked the
librarian if I can borrow the books.

"H-hi, can I borrow this books?" I
asked the librarian. But she doesn't
hear me. I can't see her face because
she's facing back at me while busy
arranging the books in the shelf.

"Hi, excuse me...." I called her
attention again. That time she finally
turn her back and accidentally our
eye's met. I was surprised because
it's 'Jupiter' I mean it's Aria. I secretly
smiled.

"Oh, I'm sorry..." she said, then pull off
the gadget thing on her ear. I guess
that's what they called 'Head set'
where the music comes out. I know
I'm a bit weird about everything and
someone might asked me what planet
do i came from. But, the reality is that I
never been born in the world with new
technologies. Father always told me
that the most important thing I should
know is all about the Palace traditions.
Aria looked down, I know she's
avoiding me since the day I enter this
academy.

"Ahm, can I borrow this books?" I
asked her again.

"I'm sorry but you can't. Do you have
your school ID?" she asked me.

"No.." I answered,

"Then you can't borrow that. It's a
school policy. You should back when
you got your ID." she added then make
her self busy.

Zaine was right. Aria is the type of girl
who is snob and hard to approach.
Maybe she doesn't want to talked with
me. Why do I forgot to asked Prof.
Atkins about the school id thing.

Better luck next time for those books.

The Prof. in our last subject is not
around so I decided to walked around
and take a little tour. The Academy
is fifteen year's old according to the
handbook which they gave us the day
one. And almost thousand of students
are enrolled in this Academy.

This place is surrounded with the
tall trees. At the back, is a forest which
is connected to the mini blue lagoon.

I saw an empty concrete table and
rest for awhile. The air is a bit cold
even if the sun is still up.

I was surprised when somebody put
books on the table. I looked up and
saw Aria standing next to me.

"Just bring it back to the library when
you're already done." she said. Then
she hurriedly walked away.

"W-wait.... I called her but she doesn't
stopped, instead she ran away.

I looked at the books and was
surprised because it's the book I was
supposed to borrow. I guess, Aria
borrowed it for me. But why? Awhile
ago she's been so snob. Why all of
the sudden her mood changed.

She's weird.

Really she is.

I should thank her tomorrow.

Then I decided to go back to the dorm.
Maybe Jack is not there yet. No
wonder his still busy of spreading his
charm.
