Y/n's pov

       I plucked at a string on my guitar, Dick, my older brother, came in, "what's up Y/n?" he asked "you look a bit traught," I smiled at his spin off words, "it's nothing, Dick," I said placing my guitar on my bed, he sat down next to me, "it's about Tim isn't it?" he asked, I averted my gaze from his, "Y/n, someday you're gonna have to tell him," said Dick "how?" I asked "I don't want to be the rebound, he and Cassie just broke up," I said "I don't know, just tell him when he's better," said Dick "come on, let's head to the living room where we can play the guitar together," said Dick, I nodded and picked up the guitar. 

       We headed to the living room together, Dick took the guitar and started playing.

       While you sang, Tim strolled passed the living room and stopped, you then finished the last stanza. You leaned against Dick's back and sighed "he's not going to realize," you said "he might," Dick said putting the guitar down "he won't, he's still madly in love with Cassie," you said, Tim then realized they're talking about him! he leaned in a bit more, "he won't," you said again "you won't know till he admits it," said Dick "kay?" "kay," you said, Dick kissed your forehead gently and left. 

       Tim then came in silently, "Y/n?" "Tim! How much did you hear?" "the entire song, and....... your conversation," said Tim, he sat down next to you, "I feel the same way," he said "Cassie accused me of losing interest in her and it's true, I did lose interest in her and I wanted to be friends with her until she decided to never be friends with me anymore," said Tim "the girl I've fallen in love with is you," you and Tim shared a look, he slipped his hand into yours, "let us work, let us be together," Tim said "you and me, just us," Tim went on, you looked away as you blushed, Tim tipped your chin up, "let me be your hero, let me hold you from nightmares, let me comfort you, let me love you," said Tim "are you sure?" you asked, Tim rested his forehead against yours, "very. sure," he said, and slowly, his lips are on yours.
