Cherish

Gun shots sounded causing me to jump.
Mama Lucy was all on the floor crying her eyes out after me and Erica dragged her out.
Kaiden walked in and pulled her off the ground.
"You can go since you not in danger.
your friends with the enemy get the fuck out my house!" He yelled pushing her towards the door.
"For you not to have known your father your just like him heartless" she cried walking out the front door.
Kaiden walked over to me wrapping his arms around me.
"Come lay with me baby" he whispered in my ear.
I know after everything that has happen he is feeling some type of way and just not showing it.
I let him lead me upstairs to his room.
He kicked off his shoes and took of his shirt jumping in the bed.
I took off my shoes and laid on top of him with my head on his chest listening to his heart beat.
"You think I'm wrong for killing her" he said rubbing circles in my back.
"No why are you regretting it" I asked.
"No im not and that is what scares me maybe I am heartless" he said causing me to lift my head an look at him.
"You love me" I asked
"Yes I do you one of my favorite people right now" he said smiling at me.
"Then your not heartless" I said placing my head back to listen to his heart beat.
"You make me feel so calm baby I swear" he said squeezing me tight.
We sat there in a comfortable silence while I listened to his heart beat.
"Marry me Cherish" he mumbled I looked up and seen he was sleep talking.
I smiled to myself and got back comfortable.
"Yes" I said before I feel asleep.

"BOOM BOOM" I jumped up fast when I heard the sound of gun shots.
It was pitch black in the room as I searched the bed for Kaiden he was gone.
I reached over in the dresser by the bed pulling out the gun that was stashed there.
"Boom Boom" two more gun shots fired off.
The gun was shaking in my hand as I shook with fear.
I ran in the closet and closed the door sitting on the floor with the gun pointing at the door.
I heard the room door squeak open and foot steps going around the room.
The closet door open quick causing me to fire barely missing Erica head.
"Damn bitch kill me then" she said shaking her head.
I jumped up and hugged her I was so happy to see her.
"What's going on" I ask.
"Me and Louie was sitting outside smoking when we seen 4 men in black walk to the back.
They didn't see us cause we was ducked off in the dark.
Kaiden and Louie took care of it.
"Where is Kaiden" I said worried.
"He is in Easy room with everybody else now he sent me to come get you" Erica said pulling my hand leading me down the stairs.
When we walked in the room I ran right to Kaiden.
"You OK baby" he asked kissing my forehead.
I shook my head up and down as I griped him tight.
I thought one of them shots where for him.
Jr was jumping up and down by Easy bed looking so excited.
I looked around the room and everybody looked casual.
Was I the only one scared out of my mind?
"We about to head out to my house in Florida.
Its not safe to stay here" Kaiden said to everybody.
When he said that a smile instantly came to my face.
Maybe my dream was about to come true.
"Pack anything y'all want we can buy what you need when we get there" he said.
"Louie you coming with us" I asked my brother.
He looked over at Erica causing her to smile and shook his head yea.
I'm going to have to be nosey and  ask her about the two of them later they think they slick.
"Doctor yogi is going to ride out with us for you Easy" Kaiden told him.
"I'm good man I don't need a doctor its just a few stitches yall act like a Nigga weak" Easy complained sitting up from the bed scrunching up his face a little bit.
"Say nigga come take these bitch ass IVs out" Easy said looking at doctor Yogi.
Kaiden walked over to Easy and slaped hands with him.
"You not my right hand man for nothing" Kaiden said smiling at him.
Easy smiled at him and playfully pushed him back.
"Don't be getting all gay on me Nigga" he said causing the both of them to laugh.
I even chuckled a little bit it feels good to see them two getting along.
"Baby come with me so we can pack up some shit" Kaiden said pulling my hand.
"Everybody meet at the front door in 5 minutes flat" he said before we walked out the door.
He led me to a room that was behind the stairs.
He took a key out his pocket to open it.
When we walked in the room it was pitch black I couldn't see anything.
He turned on a lamp that was sitting in the corner.
There where no windows.
The only thing that was in the room was the lamp.
He let go of my hand and walked to the corner of the room flipping the carpet back.
"What are you doing" I asked walking closer to him"
When he pulled the carpet back some more I seen the rolling lock of a safe.
He looked up at me and just starred for a second.
"When you met me did you think I was rich" he asked.
I thought back to His Charger with the spinning rims.
I almost shed a tear because Chase was the one that pointed it out.
I haven't even got a chance to morn my friend.
"No I didn't think you was rich I just thought you where well off then, but now I know you rich.
Its not to many people from where im from that can have a doctor on call" I said
He chuckled a little and shook his head.
He started putting his pin in.
"Baby I'm beyond rich" he said pulling out two duffle bags and handing them to me.
They where so heavy I sat them down by my feet.
He pulled out two more bags and closed the safe.
He sat the bags by my feet as he fixed the carpet back.
"What's in these" I asked.
I knew the answer, but I just couldn't believe it.
"Its your ring money baby I wasn't sleep when I asked you that question Cherish" he said walking over to me.
He leaned down on one knee and sat the bags in his hands at my feet.
He un zipped one of them revealing more money then I have seen in my life wrapped in bands.
He looked up at me and my heart melted.
His pretty diamonds dancing in his mouth as he smiled at me.
"Every since I laid eyes on you I knew you was it for me.
Its like god put everything I want and need in a woman in you.
You help me think positive and you motivate me to do better.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Cherry will you marry me"
It felt like my heart was beating out my chest.
I know its to soon to fall in love with someone the way that I did, but I do love him.
"Yes yes" I cried leaning down to him and wrapping my arms around his shoulder.
He pulled me in his lap so that I was now straddling him.
"I love you Cherish"
"I love you too Kaiden" I said before kissing his soft lips.
