At 14 I found out my mother was a man who transitioned into a female and yet I don't love her any less. She's the best woman in the world. At 4 I was fighting for my life and not once did my parents leave my side. I remember hearing their voices talking to me, begging me to not give up,to fight. At 10 we said our goodbyes to my grandparents, Kai and Zeke. They were the best grandparents any kid wishes they could have and I was lucky enough to have been alive when they were. That was 14 years ago. Today I was one of the most successful men in all of Colorado. I'm the CEO of Davidson Technologies. A business that I built from the ground up at the age of 19 when I graduated college. Today it was one of the most successful businesses ever created.
My company deals with everything from computer software to alarm systems and everything in between.
My employees all fear me and I don't care. I was a cold hearted bastard and that was only with people I hated. I don't really like dealing with people so I tend to have my assistant do that instead.
"Mr. Davidson?"I heard my secretary's voice call and I pressed the button on my phone
"What is it Samantha?" I questioned
"Mr. Sandoval is here to see you" she said and I sighed.
"Tell him to come in" I answer before disconnecting the call. Sighing I closed the folder I was looking through and put it away before standing up to greet the man that entered my office a second later.
Jensen Sandoval was a short and bulgy man with short greasy black hair. He's been coming here at least 20 times every week asking for a job but he's not qualified.
"Afternoon Mr.Davidson" he greeted and I nodded extending my hand for a shake Alberto shaving him take a seat
"Afternoon Mr. Sandoval, what brings you to my office today?" I asked taking a seat in my chair and he began asking once again for the hundredth time for a job. Promising me that this time he had everything that he needed in order to work here. Begging me to give him a chance at a job making up bs along the way about how he needed to support his family and that his daughter was sick. I had a background check done on all my employees and possible employees and not once did I find that he had a wife or children for that matter. He knew that I knew that yet he still lies
"Listen here Jensen, I will tell you again. You are not qualified to work here and that's final. I will not tell you again. In order to be able to work here you need to have a masters degree in science, and math which you don't. I also will need a diploma that states you had graduated from both high school and college which you also don't have so therefor you are not working here" I said cutting him off mid ramble and he closed his mouth
"Please sir, let me prove to you that I'm qualified even if I don't have all those" he begged
"I'm sorry Mr. Sandoval but you can't work here not now nor ever. Now please leave before I call security to have them escort you out" I said and he glared at me slamming his hands on my glass table and he's lucky it didn't crack or else he would be flying across the room that second
"You will regret rejecting me Leonardo Davidson I swear you will" he hissed before storming out of my office and slamming the door behind him. I rubbed at my temples. Good god, this guy is a pain in the damn ass.
Deciding I had enough of today, I packed my thing up and decided to call it a day. Leaving my office I told Samantha to contactMe if there was an emergency or to forward any mail that was important
"You can leave when you're done Samantha, let the others know as well" I said and she nodded before wishing me a good night.
