3 months after her bestfriends funeral

"Okay, i'll be home in a few minutes. Stay safe"Iris said over the phone

"Stay safe"I replied before hanging up the phone. My window opened and Shawn climb in in his usual outfit -- black shirt and jeans

"What do you want?"I snaped

"Listen, you have to go back to me"He said

"I'm not going back to that house or you ever again. Don't take it the wrong way, we never dated and never will"I said clearly

"You don't understand! Someone's targeting you and your family. Your mom mainly"He said and my heart droped

"I can protect you, Athena"He said walking towards me

I widen my eyes and immediately rushed out of my room to my moms room. My hand flew to my mouth and warm tears started to form in the corner of my eye

"Mom!"I said rushing to her side

"No, no, no mom don't leave me"I said. I quickly called an ambulance and hang up. The realazation hits me and i turn around to face him. I rise my hand up to his cheek and slap him. Again, again, and again before he grabbed my wrist, stopping me from slapping him.

"This is all on you! You planned this didn't you?"I said, tears flowing out of ny eyes

"Athena--"

"You distract me while your minions killed my mom!"I yelled getting ready to slap him and he stopped me, pinning my hand infront of my chest while hugging my weak body

"I hate you! Get away from me!"I sobs and he rubbed my back

"I swear i didn't do this Athena. Someone's targeting your mom and your family. Hell i'm even targeted"He said as the sirens blared

"Then who did it?"I said hearing the sirens infront of us. The paramedics rushed inside and i look at them while they do anything towards my mom to keep her alive

"I don't know"He said

"I don't know, Athena"He mumled

"I promise i'll find out"He continued and one of the paramedics walked towards us

"I'm sorry, for your loss"

"Athena, wait"I hear someone said behind me

"Athena,"He said grabbing my wrist

"What?"I snapped

"He's back"Shawn said

"What do you mean by 'he's back'?"I asked

"My twin brother, he's here. The the one who put the hit at your mom"He continued

"He looks exactly like me, except he didn't have a scar on his cheek"He said

"I-i don't understand"I stutter

"Blonde hair, light brown eyes, tattoo in his back and lip piercing"He said

"How do i know he's your twin brother? You could be lying to me"I said

"I'm not. You have to trust me in this Athena"He said and i stayed silent
