"Honey? I know you don't want to go to the funeral, but you have to"She said and I sigh, straightening my tight black dress that fits my curves perfectly. My hair is neatly pinned up to perfection as I stare myself in the mirror

"Please just try to stay until you said your speech"My mom said

"I don't think I'll last that long there"I said quietly

"Yes you will. Now come on, don't wanna be late"My mom said and we both walked out of the house. I quickly slipped on my black pumps and grab my clutch.

"Ares let's go"I said and he walked down. We all walked into the car and drive towards the funeral.  The ceremony started and I dozed off.

"Honey, it's time for your speech"My mom said snapping me out of my train of thoughts. Everyone waited for me to come up the stage and I stand up slowly. I looked at my mom and she nod. I walk up the stage slowly and cleared my throat

"Maggie and Stasia are like sisters to me. They're always there for me. We're always there when we need each other at our worst state"I said scanning the crowd. I spotted Shawn and the guys at the back row

"They lives are taken away unexpectedly right before my eyes. They died because of me and i hate myself for not saving them sooner."I said locking my gaze at him

"We must know, they're looking down at us. They will be missed as sisters, friends, relatives, or girlfriends"I said and they all clap. I quickly walked back at my seat

"Are you feeling okay?"My mom asked

"I-yeah. I-I'm fine"I said

"You look kinda pale"She said

"I'm fine. I just need to go home"I said and she nod

"Becareful"She said and I excuse myself

I walked towards the bathroom and sigh. I looked at the mirror and she's right - I look pale. I freshen up and walked out of the bathroom.

"Leaving so soon?"He asked making me let out a small scream

"Are you okay?"He asked

"No"I replied quietly

"What are you doing here?"I asked

"Funerals"He said

"Look, I'm sorry about your friends"He said and I stayed quiet

"I didn't mean it to go that way. I should've give them a chance"He said and without me realizing, a tear escaped my eye. I quickly wipe it away and looked away

"Athena, I-I'm sorry"He said walking closer towards me and i backed away

"Don't"I said wiping away my tears with my hands

"If you take another step I'll scream"I said and his face filled with sadness
