i try to get out of bed,

but i'm stuck because

you cling onto my right arm tightly,

not letting me go.

"taehyung," i groan.

"mhm..." you argue with your husky, morning voice,

but i eventually am able to exit from your hold

when i say, "if you keep holding on to me,

you're not getting breakfast."

i give you a small peck on the forehead,

to which you return with a soft smile,

making me smile as well.

i head over to the kitchen

and start to chop up some onions.

i decide to crack some eggs

and make us both omelettes since

i am only good at making omelettes

and nothing else.

i start to cook them,

and you must've woken up

because i then find you

pulling at a thread on my shirt,

looking very serious about completing your task.

"what are you doing?" i snicker.

"you have a thread that's out," you respond.

i hear a sound, and i gasp

because i think you ripped my shirt.

"got it!" you chuckle,

and hold up the thread for me to see it.

it's a tiny thread,

so i have no idea why you decided

to pull it out,

but i guess it was just an excuse for you

to seem cute around me.

"what are you cooking?" you scrunch up your nose.

"smells nice," you exclaim.

"omelettes."

"oh, good, i like omelettes."

you get out two glasses and start to pour

orange juice in both of them.

"and this'll give me a chance to judge

your cooking skills."

"i'm mediocre," i answer, shy.

cooking has never been my real forte,

but i try at it,

and you always seem to like every single food you eat.

i set the two omelettes on a dish,

and i'm glad because it didn't start to fall apart

as i cooked them.

"presentation is nice," you pretend to inspect,

putting on your round-rimmed glasses.

"pft," i scoff.

you grab a fork,

and take a look on the inside.

"my favorite toppings;

how did you know?" you joke,

and i take the first bite in my own.

it's actually tastier than i'd expected.

i guess i got the right ingredients

and the right seasonings.

"mmm." you close your eyes,

while chewing slowly,

as if you were a real critic judging food,

and i continue to laugh and stare at your

adorable face.

you finish the plate spotlessly,

with no crumb or bits left,

and you beam at me,

holding out two thumbs up.

"they were...excellent," you say carefully,

in a weird, non-seoul like accent.

"as a reward, i'll give you a kiss."

you touch my lips quickly

and pull away,

teasing me.
