Today is friday. Which means today is when Shawn and I are set to have our first official date as a couple. He still hasn't told me where we're going or what we're doing. I trust him though. And I know I'm gonna have fun no matter what we do.

It's already 6 and he said he was going to come over no later than 6:30. He should be here any minute now. All of a sudden, the doorbell rang, pulling me out of my thoughts.

I adjusted the side braid on my shoulder and slid on my denim jacket before walking down and opening the door.

There Shawn stood, wearing a maroon sweater, grey jeans and black and white converses. He told me to dress casually, so I had on a plain white tee under my jacket, some black leggings, and my black Timberland boots.

Then, Shawn led me out to his car and held open the door for me.

"Thanks." I grinned.

"No problem babe." He replied with a smile as well.

Babe. My heart literally skipped a beat.

The car ride was silent for the most part, except for whenever Shawn hummed along to the songs playing softly in the background.

Halfway through the ride, Shawn pulled up to the side of the road. Then, he pulled out a handkerchief out of the middle console.

"Wear this until we get there."

"Youre kidding aren't you?" I laughed at him.

"I'm so serious. Just please do it?" He plead.

"Alright. Sorry."

I covered my eyes with the piece of cloth, and turned so Shawn could tie a knot in the back.

"Just trust me. You're going to love it." He spoke.

"Okay. Just please don't bring me to the woods and murder me." I joked.

"I won't. Trust me." He chuckled.

After several minutes, i felt the car halt to a stop.

"Let me bring you out first then you can take the blindfold off." He instructed, to which I nodded.

The car door opened and I felt mine open right after. I grabbed Shawns hand and he helped me out of the vehicle.

"Alright just a warning it's very bright here so be ready" He spoke.
