Long time no see, Wattpad! Illuminate has been out for about two weeks now, and im still shook af. Its such a great album, and I love the vibe. My favorite songs are 'Hold On' in the deluxe version, and 'Patience'. Also, TYSFM FOR 5K!!! I've been writing new music lately, and I want to show it to Hailee. I'm planning on showing it to her later after school. Most of it is about her anyway.

I've been nervous the whole day. I just don't know how Hailee is going to react to the lyrics. I'm still nervous. Hailee said she would come over after she finished her homework. She just sent me a text saying she's coming soon.

Soon enough, the doorbell rang. I wiped my clammy hands on my jeans and checked the mirror once before jogging down the stairs.

I opened the door and it was so weird. It was like I forgot how to breathe. She looked so beautiful right there, and I bet she didn't even know it.

I snapped out of my thoughts, and led her inside.

"Come on. Let's go upstairs." I spoke timidly.

"Oh okay. Hi to you too." She retorted sarcastically.

"Sorry. Hi." I mumbled, to which she responded with a scoff.

I attempted to open my bedroom door, but I couldn't because my hands were so shaky.

"Having a little trouble there?" Hailee teased.

I tried to calm down a little bit and I finally got the door open.

I sat on the edge of my bed, grabbing my guitar and song book on the way. I patted the spot next to me for Hailee to sit. She sat giddily next to me and put her hands under her chin like a small child.

"Okay. So I wrote a new song, and I want to show you. Tell me what you think about it, and be honest."

She nodded and I fixed my music stand and flipped the page to the song lyrics and guitar chords.

I took one last shaky breath before beginning.
