Did anybody buy Treat You Better on iTunes? I bought it the morning it came out, and I literally listened to it the whole day. It's so good. Can't wait for album 2! [Another A/N at the end!]

[ S H A W N ]

Hailee fell asleep almost immediately after I started driving home. She must've gotten really tired from walking around at the mall today.

She looked absolutely beautiful, even though there was some saliva dripping out of the corner of her mouth. I wondered what I ever did to deserve someone like her in my life. She is the perfect balance of talent, beauty, kindness, and humor. She is literally perfect; at least to me. Those haters she has online; they are all wrong. Hailee is a beautiful human being inside and out, and nothing and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

Today has been one of the best days I've had in a while. After getting my heart broken by Lauren, I haven't been myself. My world was practically black and white. I couldn't see the little things that used to make me smile anymore.

But once Hailee stepped (or actually, bumped) into my life, it was as if a rainbow went and gave color to my life. I was happy again. Every little thing made me smile. Sometimes, I would even catch myself smiling for no reason at all. I've only known her for a little less than a month, but she has definitely become a significant part of my days already.

The night when I confessed my feelings to her has been replaying in my head since the night it happened. The way she teared up told me that she really did care, and that she felt the same way as me too. She didn't have to say anything. Her actions spoke louder than her words.

With the thought of the future swirling in my mind, I drove into our neighborhood. To my surprise, I saw a tall figure five houses down; on Hailee's porch. I wondered if it was a friend of Maddie's. Hailee looked so peaceful in her sleep, so I decided against waking her up, and I was going to investigate myself. I parked the car in my driveway, so she would be safe just in case. I opened the back window of the car slightly, just so fresh air could circulate in and out of the car. Then, I draped one of my newly washed hoodies that were in the backseat on her. I locked the car, and I walked over to the house next door timidly.

I didn't really have a plan on how to approach the situation. I guess I was just going to ask if Maddie was in the house?

In what felt like mere seconds, I was stood on the dimly lit porch. I figured that Maddie was asleep, considering the fact that it was already past ten at night; but I still went on with my plan. All of a sudden, the person stood up from the small chair he was sitting on. He grew taller and he almost intimidated me. I still towered over him a little, though.

"Is Maddie home?" I asked, confidence lacing my voice.

"Uh. Yeah, I believe so." The person replies with a slightly deep voice, while looking around inside the house.

"I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, but who are you?" I asked.

"Oh, my apologies. My name is Harry."

My blood boiled at the mention of the name. Harry. The bastard that broke my Hailee's heart. I calmed myself down before I did something I would regret later on. I took a step back, and the porch light suddenly turned on. Great timing as always, Maddie. I thought to myself. Then, Harry looked over at my angered expression, and a wave of recognition hit him.
