Elena will have to choose -is it going to be Stefan or Damon-or maybe someone else ?! Someone strong, protective, fierce, noble and yet gentle!? Who would that be? Maybe an Original vampire? Yes- Elijah!
And maybe Damon would fall for a witch - Ben...

"Huuh"- Elena gasped for breath looking around her putting her hand on the neck instinctively. It was night time and she was in her bed. It was just a dream-she realized. She took her phone and looked at the time- it was 3.07 a.m.
Still slightly shaken by the nifhtmarish awakening she got up and went to the bathroom. After having a drink of water she took a moment trying to make sense of it all. The pictures of the dream wete still so clear in her head. Elijah? Why would she dream of him? And with such a sweet loving feeling? She then felt her lips as if the kiss was so very real and still lingered on them. She sighed a little looking at herself in the mirror uttering-
"This is crazy."
She shook her head and then returned to bed and closed her eyes. The imagines of Elijah and her together flowed back in.

Crazy as it was, it just felt good. And she carried on thinking about the Original vampire. Maybe in another lifetime they would be having a normal life. Something deep inside of her felt like she could have had a normal life with him. She opened her eyes. And there it was. All about the ritual and him not killing Klaus came flooding back in. Nothing about this life was normal. That was very clear to her. And then her mind swayed to their conversations-
Things were not simple. Feelings were not simple.Was anything ever?
Eventually she fell asleep again.

The morning came crushing in with the incisive buzzing of her phone and Elena looked at the display answering-
"Hey, Bon"
"We were meant to meet for a run. Did you forget?"- Bonnie reminded her friend.
" What time is it?"- Elena asked sitting up.
"7.35"- Bonnie answered.
"Sorry. Ok. Can you wait? I'll be ready in a minute"- Elena answers getting up now.
