After 5x22. Damon and Bonnie are dead. Just after they saw the other side falling apart, they find themselves in the year of 1999. While seeing some familiar faces, they also realize that they can't interact with people but have influence on things.

Damon and Bonnie have been noticing chemistry between them, and things get a little heated as the decade dance approaches...

2 years have past since Bonnie Bennett saves Mystic Falls. Now that her friends have moved on with their lives and her lover remains to rip she wants to start fresh. Meeting new people and seeing different places and so much more. But what will come out of it will she live her life up or is their going to be another evil she has to face! It's been two weeks now since Elena Gilbert was put into a magical coma by a psychotic vampire/witch by the name of Kai and that she's gone her friends must figure out how to eat, sleep and survive without her. On top on grieving the loss of their beloved friend, the group has to deal with six heretics (vampire/witch hybrids) who have escaped from 1903 and intend to wreak havoc around Mystic Falls. Picture this... Tony Starks, Damon, Klaus and Loki in the same room. Well, this is gonna be fun. During Damon's New York getaway to find the cure to vampirism, he encountered a quiet unexpected turn of events. Leading him straight to the lion's den. Of course Stefan was gonna protect his brother at all costs but it seemed quite complicated when people in "funky costumes" got in the way. And so, the vampires went from wanting to save Mystic falls... to saving the world in the blink of an eye. Bonnie, college student, has to step in for her best friend Elena to go to interview Mr. Salvatore. Though she is unsure about going she accepts the request of her best friend, who is ill and can't go to the interview. Bonnie meets the mysterious CEO boss and instantly she feels attracted to him.
