"Really mom?! Talk to me! You can't actually be doing this to me?!" Lauren yelled at her mother, tears spewing from her eyes. She didn't think she needed help nor did she wanted it but to her mother she needed it bad. Her mother couldn't stand to see her daughter stumble her way into their home at two in the morning drunk. Clara no longer wanted Lauren to do this to herself. Ever since Mike, her husband, Chris and Taylor, her son and daughter, died in a car accident two years ago Lauren has been non stop drinking and doing drugs. Clara couldn't let Lauren rot away. So she called in Sinu.

"Listen to me Lauren!" Clara demanded. Lauren's never heard her mother raise her voice like that in a long time, the green eyed girl was afraid of what her mother could do after raising her voice like that so Lauren wiped her tear stained face and stumbled to sit down, taking a deep breath, calming her nerves. Damn, could Lauren use a drink right now.

"Now, I have called Sinu to help you with your addiction," Clara said moving her hand to point across the room where Sinu leaned against the wall watching the interaction between the mother and daughter. "I'll be sending you to a rehab facility not far away from here, only a few miles away," Clara concluded. Lauren's jaw dropped as she heard the words 'rehab facility'.

"No, no, no, No! I'm not going to some rehab facility!" Lauren yelled getting up from where she was siting again. Clara shook her head once more, disappointment clouding her mind.

"You'll be able to go to school tomorrow to say bye to your friends, for you are not going to be attending school anymore, the facility will be taking up all of your time," Sinu explained stepping into their argument. "Your mother is allowed to visit you and you will be surrounded by people who were and are going through the same thing you're going through. Trust me Lauren you will be addiction free after your time in the facility." Sinu concluded, resting a hand on Lauren's shoulder for comfort.

"I'm not taking 'No' for an answer Lauren, you must go through with this." Clara warned, giving the signature Jauregui eyebrow raise. Lauren nodded and turned to look up at Sinu.

"I'll give you time to pack. I'll come back tomorrow afternoon to pick you up." Sinu smiled softly down at Lauren and removed her hand from the young girls shoulder, showing herself out the house.

Lauren took one last look at her mother. You could see anger and sadness mixed in the young girls green eyes as she jumped up from where she was siting and raced up the steps of the stairs and into her room.

Lauren woke up the next morning. She re-caped everything that had happened last night and groaned. She got up from bed and lit a cigarette, putting it in her mouth and taking a deep breath in before releasing the smoke. She did this for a few more minutes then stubbed the cigarette into the ash tray on her windowsill. Lauren opened the window to let all the smoke out. She walked to her joint bathroom and brushed her teeth.

Lauren walked downstairs fetching breakfast only to find her mother leaning against the kitchen counter and drinking a hot cup of coffee.

"Good morning" Clara said softly looking down at her coffee. Lauren glanced over at her mother grabbing a green apple and whispering a 'morning' back.

"I'll be back later." Lauren said walking out of the house towards her car, green apple in hand.

-

"Hey Lauren's here!" Lauren could hear her best friend, Cara, from the back of the library. "Me and Zayn were just getting a little fucked up before you got here, wants some?" Cara said handing a joint of weed to Lauren.

"Zayn and I," Lauren whispered to herself taking the weed from Cara's hand and putting it in her mouth blowing the toxic smoke out seconds later. Cara clapped her hands giggling into Zayn's ear.

The only thing on Lauren's mind at the moment is the talk she had with her mother and Sinu the other night about going to the rehab facility. Lauren didn't want to go but she knew she needed to. She just couldn't have the heart to tell her friends. Their drunk asses might want to come and break her out of the facility if they ever find out she's going to one.

Lauren looked around the room. It was the back of the library where no body ever goes to, might as well get fucked up for the last time. Lauren took out a bottle of bourbon and started drinking it watching Zayn and Cara get up to dance with no music. Man, they must be high as fuck.
