Chapter 17.

Its Time..

Leilani woke in the middle of night with slight stomach pains. She didn't think none of it since she thought the baby was adjusting herself so she fell back asleep. At 4 A.M. Leilani was awaken with pains again but much stronger. She tried to shake Laurent awake but he wasn't budging. She tried to move but her water broke which resulted wet bed. She screamed out in pain and woke Laurent up.

Laurent: *groggily* Babe you okay.

Leilani: *full on crying*

Laurent sat up and felt a wet spot in the bed. He switched the lamp on and pulled the covers back. He noticed that the wet spot was from Leilani.

Laurent: Babe did you pee yourself.

Leilani: *crying* No it's time.

Laurent: *confused* Its time?

Leilani: *screaming* ITS TIME LAURENT!! MY WATER BROKE!!

Laurent: *shocked* Oh shit!!

He rushed and called Larry, Teddy and the family. He told them what was going on and he hurried and got himself and Leilani dressed. He grabbed her, her changing bag and the baby bag and left for the hospital.

*At The Hospital*

Leilani was screaming all through the hospital. Laurent held her hand and rubbed her stomach. She was only 2 centimeters and she couldn't get her epidural yet. She was a crying mess. Larry and Teddy walked in the room and went to her bed side.

Teddy: Hey boo you okay?

A contraction hit her as she screamed out 'NO' and Larry covered his ears. Teddy hugged her bestfriend out of comfort. Leilani turned to Laurent with tears in her eyes.

Leilani: *sobbing* Babe please can you rub my back?

Laurent: Where babe?

Leilani pointed to a spot on her back and he immediately rubbed it. She moaned out in satisfaction. Teddy put a cold towel on her forehead and rub her stomach while Larry rubbed her feet. Another contraction hit Leilani big time and she screamed out real loud. Laurent had let a tear drop from his eyes. He hated seeing her in pain. He wish he could take her place but he couldn't. After the contraction wore down she was a sobbing mess.

The nurse then came in and checked her so Teddy and Larry had to step out.

Larry: Don't even think about a baby right now.

Teddy: I wasn't. We've been dating for a few weeks and I'm not ready for a baby yet. Maybe later in the future but not now.

Meanwhile with Leilani..

The nurse checked her and wrote something down on her clipboard.

Nurse: You're ready for your epidural ma'am.

Leilani: *whimpering* Please hurry it upppp.

A contraction hit again and Leilani squeze Laurent hand. It didn't bother him much. She was in the real pain so he had to suffer. He was the one who impregnated her. Larry and Teddy walked back in as Leilani was crying but not as hard. Teddy walked over and rubbed her stomach some more while Laurent massaged her scalp.

The nurse came back ten minutes later with the epidural medication.

Nurse: Sir I'ma need you to help her sit up so I can give her the medication.

Laurent: Yes ma'am. 

He sat Leilani up with her arms around his neck and her head on his chest. The nurse cleant the needle and stuck it in the lower part of her back. She let her head fall back as she sighed out in praise. The nurse was done and she laid back down with Laurent's help. The nurse left and Leilani went to sleep.
