(pt. 1) six years later-

"dad! wake up!"

niall opened his eyes and saw his exuberant 7 year old son, noah.

"it's so early," niall sleepily groaned, "how are you awake..."

"it's christmas!" noah giggled. he jumped up on the bed and crawled over niall onto liam. "daddy! wake up!"

liam let out a yawn. "g'morning pumpkin."

"c'mon daddy let's go open presents!" noah bounced on the mattress.

niall dropped his head back onto his pillow face-down. "ten more minutes..."

liam chuckled. "you can sleep downstairs, ni. let's go."

noah and liam slowly walked out of the room, forcing niall to come too.
