I opened the front door and slowly walked in. But just to my surprise, I saw peridot and the two other gems on the warp pad. I ran towards them just when they were starting to warp away. It was like time slowed down. I jumped and shut my eyes. I heard a gasp, and I collided with someone and we fell on the ground. Then time went back to its original speed. I heard a groan and I opened my eyes expecting to see peri but I didn't. Instead, I was face to face with a gem that was NOT peri. She had purple skin, that kind of reminded me of sugulites skin and purple hair and eyes. She tried to reach the warp pad but I just held on to her like a baby would to their mother. "why were you three running away from me?" I asked once she gave up. "that information is classified. now if you don't mind, I would really appreciate it if you let me go." she said sternly. "I'm not letting you go until you tell me," I said tightening my grip on her. She groaned and glared at me. "...we only did it because she told us to" ,she said, "can you let me go now?"'not until you tell me who." I said releasing my grip a bit. "you have a strong grip but a weak brain" ,she mumbled making me growl, "who else? peridot." I froze.

She really hates me, doesn't she? I could feel my face get pale and my grip weaken. She took this chance to get out of my grip and when she did she ran towards the warp pad but not until stopping and looking at me. She made her way towards me with confusion in her face. But all I felt like doing was cry. I fell to my knees and started crying. "h-hey. whats wrong?" she asked as she took a step towards me. "she really hates me. she won't forgive me, won't she?" I asked weakly letting more tears fall. She paused looking away in shame. I knew it, she is never going to forgive me for what I've done, I can no longer have what I used to have with her. We stood there a while until she broke the silence, "s-she means alot to you, doesn't she?" she asked looking back at me. I weakly nodded, "more than anything." I mumbled. She sighed, "I'll take you to her." she said. I looked up in shock, "really?" She nodded, "I know how it feels to loose someone who you really care about" ,she said,"come on, before I change my mind." I quickly nodded and smiled, probably the first one in a while now. We stepped onto the warp pad and we warped to a sort of forest. We walked around for a while until I saw a light in the distance, as we got closer I could hear voices. "we can't just leave her there! I mean, what if they keep her hostage or better yet, poof her!", the gem beside me shivered at the word coming out of the other gem's mouth, "She hasn't even had a taste of this delicious earth food!"'I'm sorry Aqua but I'm not getting near them anytime soon. We'll think of something", my heart cracked when I heard peri say that. "I'm going out there, you stay here until I tell you to" she whispered. I nodded, its good to have at least one of them on my side. She got up and walked towards the gems. I heard them gasp and I peaked in through the bushes to see the gem that was addressed as "Aqua" run up to the gem. "NICOLE! I was so worried! what happened?!" she shouted and started crying. "I'm fine aqua, but I did find some help, and they want to talk to you peri" the one addressed as "Nicole" turned to peri as peri froze. Nicole turned to face me and nodded. I sighed and got up.

"hey...peri." I said nervously and waved. Peri stood there wide eyes as Aqua stepped back towards peri. "Nicole, who did I specifically tell you not to bring here?" peri said sternly narrowing her eyes at Nicole. "I-I..." ,Nicole started but I interrupted, "I made her bring me here" ,I said looking down. She frowned, "I-I need to go", she ran off. "wait! peri", I growled as I chased after her. She kept running until she hit a dead end. She started clawing at the walls as I walked towards her. She turned round and squeaked when she saw me in front of her. I was about to say something when she did something that made my heart shatter. "J-just do it! do whatever you want to me, I don't even care anymore! do what you wanted to do at the kindergarten! do it! can't you see that I'm helpless right now?! why won't you just finish what you started?!" , she sobbed uncontrollably. Just the sight of her saying that made my heart break. She fell to her knees and cried. she looked really hurt, I don't even know if she will forgive me. I stood there a while hearing nothing but her cries. Finally, I got to my knees and scooted closer to peri. Her face covered with her hands as she cried. I took her hands away from her face but struggled to keep it that way. She finally gave up and hung her head down still crying. I let go of her hands and put two fingers under her chin and raised her head up to look at me. "peri, I'm sorry. I truly am" I said cupping her cheek with my hand. She pushed me away and scooted farther away from me. I sighed and scooted next to her.

I made her look at me and just when she was about to scoot away from me, I wrapped my arm around her waist making her whimper. I held my grip on her as I cupped her cheek with my hand. She didn't make eye contact with me, all I could do was look at her. I leaned in and kissed her tears away, she struggled against my grip but gave up shortly afterward.I can tell she was still upset, so I prepared myself to do the unthinkable. "peri, please don't hate me" I whispered and I leaned in. just as she looked at me, I kissed her.
