Steven pov:

I hid in the barn behind some tools.This is just too obvious, she'll easily find me. I heard foot steps coming in. I tried to hide the best I can, but she found me."I can see you Steven" she says before coming up to me and pulling me up. I was blushing like crazy now. her hand was soft. great. it was even sunset making her eyes glisten. "Steven?" she asked. "h-huh? oh, sorry" I let out a nervous smile. "what's wrong?" she asked her eyes looking into mine. I found myself looking into hers and blushing like crazy. I leaned closer to her. "s-Steven?" she was starting to blush and backed away. "h-huh? oh sorry" I quickly backed away from her. My face was getting redder every time I looked at her. We stood silent for a while. "so...want to help me with the drill?" she said trying to break the silence. "s-sure" I said quickly and we took some tools to the drill. By the time we got some work done it was night. Her gem started to glisten in the moonlight. it gave her a beautiful aura around her too. I found myself looking at her. "Steven? what are you looking at?" she said looking at me with her beautiful emerald eyes. "h-huh? oh I was looking at t-the moon" I said trying to sound casual. it wasn't working."it is beautiful" she said dropping her wrench and looking at the moon. "not as beautiful as you" I mumbled hoping she didn't hear that. "huh? did you say something?" she said turning to look at me. "w-what me? no" I said trying to hide my red face. we sat on the grass and looked at the moon. I was about to say something when I felt her fall onto my legs. She was asleep. I was blushing like crazy now. I touched her cheek. soft. she was so cute when she asleep. I stroked her cheek. She smiled. I leaned in to kiss her cheek when I heard footsteps. I quickly got up and picked her up. surprisingly, she wasn't that heavy. Amethyst came up to me smirking. "hey steven, did you kiss her while she was asleep. or maybe she fell asleep on you and snuggled wit-" I interrupted her,"no amethyst. I found her asleep and decided to take her back to the house."well, you could've had a chance to kiss her" she said and walked away. I carried her to my room and laid her on my bed. I lay next to her. "good night peridot.." I said before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

**there we go. I may do peridot's pov tomorrow unless I feel like writing it today. I got some really good ideas for this book. if you haven't checked out my friend mysterious_girl0728 please do.
