Peridot pov:

I ran out the house and ran to the entrance of the barn. Hopefully Steven isn't in there. I don't really want to embarrass him. I opened the door to the barn to see Steven hiding behind some tools. "I could see you Steven" I said while walking up to him. I helped him up. for some reason his face started getting red, or as they call it "blushing". "Steven?" I asked. he was looking at me in a strange way.h-huh? oh, sorry" he said nervously. I was getting really nervous around him. and a little warm. I decided to to hide it."what's wrong?" I knew he was nervous about amethyst telling me, but I decided to see it myself.I looked at him for a while. he caught my glance and looked at me. He started to lean in. "s-Steven?" I said and backed away blushing."h-huh? oh, sorry" he said and quickly backed away. he really does have feelings. We stood there for a while in silence. steven was blushing like crazy every time he looked at me. I decided to break the silence "so... want to help me with the drill?" I said. "s-sure" he said said while picking up some tools. we went back to the drill and got some work done. It got dark pretty quickly. I noticed that Steven was staring at something. "steven? what are you looking at?" I said turning my attention towards him. he started to blush."h-huh? oh, I was looking at t-the moon."I turned and looked at the moon."it is beautiful" I said putting down my wrench. Steven mumbled something."huh?did you say something?" I said turning to him. "w-what me? no" he said nervously. We stared at the moon for a while before I got an idea. Maybe if I pretend to sleep and land on him, I can confirm weather or not he likes me. I pretended that I fell asleep and fell on top of him. He was blushing like crazy. then, I felt his hand touch my cheek. I started to get a warm feeling inside me but I didn't know why. I felt his hand stroking my cheek. I fell asleep a few seconds later.

**Dream**

I  was on a mission with Steven and the gems. they finally let me go from the leash. We were walking through a shoreline. the waves were calm. the wind whistled in my ears. I stepped on something and stopped. I looked down to see that the tide had brought a part of my limb enhancers. "peridot? are you coming?" steven said walking closer to me."I'm coming, you guys can go ahead I'll catch up" I said staring down to my limb enhancer. "ok" he said and followed the gems. The tide started to rise and took my limb enhancer. I jumped into the water to retrieve it."hello peridot" I heard a familiar voice behind me."j-jasper?" I said and spun around. she was a fusion with what looks like lapis lazuli. "miss me?" she said while grabbing my limb enhancer and crushing it."my limb enhancer! what do you want from me?" I started running."not so fast you little runt" she said and a stretched out her hand making the water turn a hand. The hand was too fast for me and caught me instantly."What do you want?!" I said squirming."easy, I want you to stop being a traitor and come back. if you do, I'll give you a new set of enhancers." she said tightening her grip on me."and if I don't?" I said rolling my eyes."lets just say you'll have a front row seat on seeing me destroy the crystal gems, including "steven". And, after I kill them, I'll fuse with lapis or you when I want to forever."By now her grip was so tight that I could barely breathe .I declined. She tightened her grip a little harder."very well" she said before she started drowning me. "peridot!" steven called before everything went black.

**wakes up**

I woke up with a scream. "peridot?" I turned my head to see steven hugging me so tight I could barely breathe. but I was so scared to complain about it. I hugged steven tightly and started crying."peridot?a-are you o-ok?" he said hugging me."no." I said crying. "did you get a nightmare?" he said hugging me tighter."w-whats a nightmare?" I looked up at him."a nightmare is like a bad dream" he said letting me go."then,yes" I said. he wiped my tears "do you want to talk about it?" he asked hugging me."yes" I said hugging him tightly.
