Chapter 18

"For Jace it would be goofy and for Brooklyn it would be gorgeous." Riele says to Riele_is_a_queen.

We Periscope for 1 hour then we decide to wrap it up because it is getting late and Riele needs to get home. We say goodnight and Jace and I go upstairs to his room and we get in his bed and go to sleep.

----Time Lapse---- 1 week

Jace's POV
So last week we had my birthday party and Brandy Ritter from 100 things is having a party this weekend. I am trying to convince Brooklyn to be my date.

"Come on BabyGirl go to Brandy's party with me it will be fun." I say and she sighs and sits down next to me on my bed.

"I don't know but is Maeve gonna be there?" She asks and leans her head on my shoulder.

"Yes and so will Ella, Riele, and Jade so don't worry." I say then ask. "Why?"

"Because at your 17th birthday party Maeve was acting wired around us. She would glare at me." She says and I scoop her up and we go downstairs.

"She was trying to make Flirty eyes with me but I ignored her now please be my date to Brandy's party." I say and I playfully throw her on the couch.

"Jace stop horseplaying." Glory says as she comes into the livingroom. Henry is behind her.

"Sorry Glory." I say as I pet Henry. "Wanna go outside Brook?"

"Sure." She says and Glory high fives her as we walk outside.

"Henry come on buddy." I call and he comes.

"Uggh we have to go to work tomorrow man!" Brooklyn whines. She sounds like she is getting sick.

"I know and you sound like you are getting sick BabyGirl." I say and I get into a more comfortable spot on the porch swing.

"I know I don't feel good." She says and pushes Henry off the pours swing so that she can snuggle up to me. I rub her head I lean my head back on the back of the porch swing and close my eyes. "Jace?"

"Yeah?" I ask and I open my eyes and lift my head.

"I love you." She says.

"I love you too." I say and I drift off to sleep.

----Time Lapse---- 1 hour

I feel someone tapping my shoulder and calling my name. I open my eyes to see that it's Glory.

"What Glory?" I ask.

"I made dinner you and Brooklyn might wanna come and eat." Glory says and I look down and I see Brooklyn has stretched out on me.

"Ok Glory." I say and she leaves. "Baby get up its time to eat.

Brooklyn gets up like 5 minutes later.

"Jace my head hurts." She says holding her head.

"I know baby I know." I say and I help her inside and take her to the couch. Henry jumps on the couch and lays next to her. "How much do you want?"

I get her plate and I show her how much I put on the plate.

"That's good thanks Baby." She says and takes the plate and I go grab my plate and sit next to her.

"Your welcome sweetheart." I say and kiss the side of her head.

----Time Lapse---- 25 minutes

Brooklyn and I finished eating and we went upstairs to my room. I plugged my phone in and set it on my night stand. I made sure my alarm was set for 6:45 am. I crawl into my bed and take my shirt off and I get under the blanket. Brooklyn gets into my bed and lays her head on my chest. Brooklyn and I fall asleep how we are.

Brooklyn's POV 6:45 am
I hear Jace's alarm clock on his phone go off so I reach over him and grab his phone to turn it off. I get up and go to the bathroom.

"Jace it's time to get up." I say shaking him. The floor is cold so I put his slippers on my feet.

"What time is it?" He asks.

"What time did you set your alarm for honeybun?" I
