Today I'm going to the beach with the girls and then Ezra and I are going to an ultrasound to find out the gender of the baby, but we aren't telling the girls that we are finding out. I am now 15 weeks and there is a little bump.
"Ezra, can you take me to Spencer's house please" my car is currently in the garage because I needed a tire changed. We are going to get it after the gender reveal. "Sure, now?" He asked politely. "Yeah, I think so" I shoved my towel into my grey beach bag along with the sun cream and my sunglasses. I was wearing a black mesh bikini coverup over my black bikini, I figured I might as well soak up my mostly flat body whilst I had the chance. "Okay, I'm ready" he said as he returned from the bathroom, he approached me and kissed my cheek softly. I took his hand and led him to the car.
"I'll see you at 5 then" I kissed him and went to leave the car "love you" I waved at him from Spencer's door "love you too" he waved back and drove away. I knocked two times and entered Spencer's house, greeted by Hanna, Emily and Spencer. I out my bag down on the kitchen island and walked over to them. "I have to leave at like, 4:45. Is that cool?" I asked spencer as I sat down, she glanced at her watch checking the time and nodded "we better get going then" she laughed and put her arm around my shoulders. I picked up my bag and we headed to the beach in Em's car.
"Ugh, I really hate sand." I said whilst putting my towel down and getting sand in my mouth. "We know" Han said laughing at my attempt to get on the towel without touching the sand. "Is anyone else here, like people we know?" I asked worriedly "no, Aria what's wrong?" She sat up and looked over at me. "I just don't want anyone to see me, like.. Fat and ugly, I was so confident before I left this morning, now I just want to throw up." I said shakily. "Aria, you look beautiful" spencer said rubbing my arm "and you don't even look fat, you don't look pregnant at all" Hanna added. "Han" Em hit her arm. "Come on aria, there's life growing inside of you, there's nothing ugly about that" she spoke very comfortingly "I know, but people will just think I'm a slut" I wiped the tears from my eyes sighing. Spence took my hand and led me to the water in an attempt to distract. "Girls, let's go" she yelled at Emily and Hanna
We were all lying cooling down in the shade in an attempt to dry ourselves and I took my phone out of my bag and checked the time 3 o'clock "I'm hungry" Han said looking up at us. "Yeah me too, let's go eat" Em added we walked around the town and found a small little bar, we had two large fries to share and I had some pickles and a salad. "Slow down Ar" spence said laughing at me. I laughed and took a sip of water " yeah this is like 50,000 calories" Han said calorie counting my food yet again. "No calorie counting whilst I'm pregnant, okay" I said with a sassy tone and ate more fries. "I've got to pee" I said and got up to go to the toilet
We were walking around the little beach town and looking at the shoes and my eyes wandered to the baby clothes, force of habit. The girls all followed me and awed at all of the adorable little infant clothing. "So, when do we find out if it's a little girl or little boy" "I'm not too sure yet" I lied "but I really want it to be a boy, Ezra really wants a girl, so we have a bet" I laughed to the girls and we exited the shop. "Aria, you're buzzing" Han said as she took my phone out of the bag. I reached towards it and answered the call
"Hey, where do you want me to get you?" I heard Ezra's voice ask
"at Spencer's house, were about to leave now"
"Okay, I'll see you then"
"I love you"
"I love you too, bye"
I hung up the phone and put it back into Emily's bag. "You two are the cutest" she said as she put the phone back into the bag. "You can't stay away for like four hours can you" Hanna added. "Separation anxiety, I guess" I replied as I opened the car door. "I mean, It's summer, so he doesn't have to work and I don't have to go to school, so we basically are always together. It's going to be so much worse when the baby comes tho" I added "yeah, I mean you never really leave that apartment, like ever" I laugh at Spencer's comment. "Only to get coffee" Hanna added "yeah, but it's getting better, I want to like have at least one day apart before the baby comes, so we should all have a sleepover when baby is like not ready to escape" I laugh "so you want the separation anxiety to not be that bad because it will get really bad when he or she arrives" Emily said "basically, yeah"
we arrive at Spencer's and I check the time 5:03 "Ezra will be here like any minuet, so I'm going to love and leave you guys" "bye Ar, see you later" they all said as I spotted Ezra's car in the drive way
