The Xeno took a dive at me swinging it's arm and I ducked under it and put a beam into its chest cavity. It burnt through and burnt a bit off of its wings.
"Get down!" Yelled Bob as he chucked a laser grenade. I went prone and hoped to God that I wouldn't get hit. The grenade hit the ground in the middle of the other Xenos and exploded sending countless las beams in every direction. Burning the Xenos to no return. Bob pulled me up.
"Nice throw, now let's get going."
"Heh, ya that's a good idea."
We took one last look at the Xeno city, I swear I saw a building rise from the ground suddenly and silently.
Then we took off, my nose running even worse. I felt hyper from adrenaline but it slowly faded. Me and Bob decides to take a rest as night fell upon us.
We eat quickly under Meladine's moon less sky. And then settled down for a sleep. I took first watch, that's when I heard a screach from the depths of hell.
