Ellie's POV
I don't know what to say. My dads been in a car accident. I'm not even at the hospital. I can't see him like that. Especially after he forced Noah to cheat on me.

I need to just skate.
"Jordan, can you take me to the rink?" I ask.

"Yeah, you just need to clear your head?" She asks.

"Yep." I say, grabbing my bag and tracksuit.

We arrive there after a little drive. There are a few cute boys who I've seen on the ice. I need someone who will help me get over Noah but also be a great boyfriend.

I'm fourteen now so I do get how to handle a relationship. I've been in quite a few back in England and I know what to look for.

"I'll pick you up in an hour Ellie." Jordan smiles.

"Okay, ring me if you hear anything on Dad." I say, pulling off my shoes and kicking my boot on.

Jordan leaves me to myself and I put my Zuca bag in a locker and get on the ice. There are some guys here that take my eye.

I skate round and while I'm just stood at the top practicing my camel spin into my butterfly. It's something I can't quite get the hang of yet I can do a flying camel. Strange.

"Hey." This guy says. Oh my god.

"Hi." I smile. Hockey skater. Maybe.

"What's your name?" He asks with a smile on his face.

"Ellie, Ellie Tordjman." I say, trying not to blush.

"I'm Tristan, Tristan Ellis." He says, shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you Tris." I say, already creating a nickname.

"Would you like to go out some time?" He asks.
Best day of my life.

"I'd love to, thanks." I smile as he hands me his phone to put my number in.

We skate round together, messing around and me looking at other possible boyfriend candidates incase Tristan isn't good enough.

"Well, what's your best trick?" He asks me.

"Probably triple axel." I say.

He looks at me with confusion before I just get some speed up and perform my favourite jump.

"Wow, that's amazing Ellie." He smiles.

I blush at that comment before I see Jordan stood over by the benches.
"Sorry to cut it short Tris but my friend's here to pick me up, we'll organise something within the next few days." I smile.

"Well let me come off with you." He says kindly.

"Thanks." I say.

I managed to get my bag in my locker but I can't get it out.
"Here, let me get it." Tristan says, reaching up easily.

He's so tall. But he's really cute. Maybe I can get over Noah. Easier than I thought.

He just watches me take off my boots, not in a creepy way, before I clean them up and put them in my bag.

"I'll see you soon Ellie." He smiles, hugging me tightly.

"Yep, we'll organise something." I say, returning the hug.

We wave goodbye before I head up the stairs with Jordan.
"Who was that?" She asks.

I blush and my face heats up.
"Tristan, he's a new friend of mine." I say, trying not to sound like I like him.
