The feeling of being watched bore into Zack's nerves, making him feel like he was about to go numb with the sensation.
Though he could look around for hours-on-end, he wouldn't find any sign of a person following him as he walked the narrow path in the woods to his cottage; where he lived with his beloved mum, wife, and beautiful daughter.
Pah-lucp, Pah-lucp, Pah-lucp.
Zack began to shiver as he turned around -to once again, find nothing-, God those are the oddest foot-
A scream, so peircing, loud, and high pitched, practically blew I
out his eardrums. He stuck his fingers in his ears and began to jog, cringing as a bit of liquid copper oozed just barely out of his ear.
Run, whispered in his ear.
So he did as whatever this entity told him. His heart and nerves began to pump inside him, and his head was fogged with fear.
The scream went on and on, without any cease.
He tripped and fell on his chest, gasping for air.
Suddenly, the screaming stopped.
He blinked back tears and, clutching his chest, pushed himself off of his back.
The only think he could hear were the frogs, and the moon was casting odd, misty, human shadows.
Waittaminu-
Ring Around the rosy... pocket full...
As the singing slowly got louder, the shadows moved in a circle closer to him, their hands together.
Zack suppressed more tears and tried to push away, but his arms were glued to the dirt.
RING AROUND THE ROSY!!! POCKET FULL OF POSIES!!!
The last this anyone ever heard of Zack was a scream.
