I heard nothing but screaming and gun shots coming from the outside of my house. I have to wait a minute before actually going out because my parents are gonna video chat me to see if I'm actually in my room . They're locked up in their room and I'm locked up in mine until further notice.
"Jc , we're not doing the video chat tonight because the laptop isn't charged ." my mother said from the other side of the door.
"okay mom." I quietly stood up and walked over to my closet.
"Jc , do you wanna come into our room."
I rolled my eyes and grabbed some clothes.
"mom , you're gonna die if you don't go back on lock down."
I heard her footsteps run across the room.
"finally." I started getting ready.
