"Sure am." I replied gripping onto his hand. My heart fluttered thinking about last night, after all the crap that had happened Riley was there for me, he was the shoulder I needed to cry on and as of last night he was also my boyfriend. I couldn't be happier, I think.

We drove the hour to the beach singing out of tune and head banging to New Found Glory all the way. In all honesty I wish it had lasted longer but I don't think driving into the sea was an option. I unbuckled my belt as soon as we parked up, I was surprised to see a few cars already there and a ridiculous orange coloured Volkswagen van.

"You bought a picnic?" I asked, watching Riley grab the hamper out of the back seat.

"A trip to the beach isn't complete without a picnic."

"True." I said while I grabbed our towels. The cold air hit me, I was already shivering and I hadn't even been anywhere near the water.

"Come on, all the good spot will be gone." He joked. He started running up the sand dune which held the beach on the other side. I was quick to follow but stopping abruptly at the sight in front of me.

"What are they doing here?" I asked rhetorically as I started walking back down. Riley quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me next to him.

"Just ignore them, you're all that matters." He whispered as he held me tight. "Also, last one in the water is a rotten egg." He was so childlike; I couldn't help but laugh as I watched him get a head start. I was hot on his heels though. He threw the picnic basket on the sand along with his t-shirt, shorts and shoes as he started to run to the water in his bathing shorts. I was hot in pursuit, I flung my clothes off revealing my black bikini I had opted for today, since I didn't expect to see anyone. I through all of my insecurities over my shoulder and chased him down to the water only a couple feet behind him. Whilst running down we started screaming banter at each other which of course attracted attention which we both ignored. Harry and his friends were stood on the water's edge fully clothed and barely dipping their toes in. I could hear the squealing of the girls every time the water came near them. Me and Riley ran straight passed them, splashing them all in the process as we plunged into the icy water. I swam out to Riley who was stood with just his head popping out above the surface.

"You lose." He smirked.

"Oh damn." I joked.

"That means I win." He said still smiling. "What's my prize?" He joked.

"Oh I don't know, maybe this would suffice." I said as I swam up to him and planted a kiss against his lips. I knew people were staring but I couldn't care. The kiss was kinda wet, but it was definitely full of energy and passion.

"I guess that's a good prize." He joked as we pulled away. He rested his forehead against mine and looked deep into my eyes.

"What you thinking about?" I asked bobbing up and down in the water.

"I'm thinking about those awesome peanut butter sandwiches I made." He joked, I couldn't help but laugh. He pulled me onto his back and started swimming back to shore.

"Have you noticed how cold it is?" I asked, the freezing water had just hit me.

"Nope, I'm full of adrenaline." He said as he spun me around. I fell off in the process and submerged under water. I came up gasping for air but was only attacked by more water when Riley decided he wanted to start a splash fight.

"That's not fair." I shouted in between splashes.

"Catch me if you can." He winked at me as he started to swim to the shore. I closely followed and began running as we reached the sand. I was a lot faster than him and pounced on top of him sending us both hurtling towards the ground. We both landed with a thud. Riley spun over and I remained lying on top of him. I sat up so I was straddling him. He ran his fingers over my side. "I didn't know you had a tattoo." He said as he traced the dream catcher down my left side.

"There's a lot you don't know." I spoke almost as quietly as a whisper as I bent down and kissed him.

"GET A ROOM!" Someone shouted, the voice sounded vaguely familiar. I didn't bother breaking the kiss; I stuck my middle finger up and proceeded to kiss my boyfriend.

"You know for a boy you make amazing sandwiches." I said as I finished off another one, making that three I had already piled in.

"You know for a girl you sure can eat." He replied.

"Are girls not supposed to eat?"

"Every girl I know refuses to eat around boys and when they do they just pick at their food."

"Well everyone expects girls to all be micro thin, eat like a lady and not be themselves."

"And that's what I like about you."

"What?"

"You're not afraid to be yourself and you are beautiful."

"Be real, because a mask only fools people on the outside. Pretending to be someone you're not takes a toll on the real you, and the real you is more important than anyone else."

"Wow, that's deep."

"The great words of the wise one called Alex Gaskarth, and my hero."

"It's probably time to head back now, I'm getting cold."

"Not so macho anymore." I joked.
