"What do you mean you can't find them?" Doug demanded. "You're not dealing with Jason Bourne here. It's two old guys and a woman."
"We've done a full sweep of the building. They're not here. Our best guess is that after taking out Lorenz and Kowalski, they escaped by car."
"Where?"
"We're looking. We searched Luna's house and were about to go check Phillip's, but we started getting dizzy."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"It might be a coincidence or else sabotage, but Luna's house is full of carbon monoxide. Within a couple minutes of searching, one of our guys passed out."
"Carbon monoxide?"
Doug thought about it for a moment and then his eyes brightened.
"Yes, sir. Most of us were fine, but we needed to take one of the guys to the hospital."
"Go to Phillip's house now. Bring gas masks and three body bags."
"Yes, sir."
