    ~Y/N's P.O.V~
Levin and I were both under the umbrella so neither one of us was wet. The footsteps behind us, on the gravel path, made me turn. Malachi and Grace were walking towards us. Grace was shaking and Malachi's scarf was around her neck and his arm was around her shoulders. They walked over to us.
"I'm going to find an empty house and get Grace warmed up. "Malachi told us then the two started walking away again.
"I guess we don't need to go find them....."I said slowly.
Levin nodded, then grabbed my hand. We walked inside, leaving the umbrella open on the ground as the rain continued to pour.
~Grace's P.O.V~
Malachi and I stopped at the house my friends were in to grab myself a change of clothes. I also grabbed my guitar that was leaning up against one of the walls. I never met Jacob's eyes. We left the building and entered the one two houses down. I set the guitar down on the bed.
"I-I'm g-gonna go c-change." I said to Malachi and walked into a small bathroom.
I exited in a dark purple sweatshirt, with an ice blue tank top underneath, and light grey sweat pants. I had white socks on my feet. I was feeling warmer already. Malachi was looking at my guitar.
"I can play, if you want."I made him jump and I giggled a bit.
Malachi turned to look at me,"no, you need to relax and calm down."
I walked over and sat down on the bed, grabbing my guitar,"singing helps."
Malachi sat beside me,"ok, go ahead then."
I started to play and sing.
Little girl terrified
She'd leave her room if only bruises would heal.
A home is no place to hide.
Her heart is breaking from the pain that she feels.

Every days the same!
She fights to find her way!
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray.
She wonders why, does anyone ever hear her when she cries?

Today she's turning sixteen.
Everyone's singing,but she can't seem to smile.
They never get past arm's length.
How could they act like everything was alright?
Pulling down her long sleeves.
To cover all the memories the scars leave.
She says,"maybe making me bleed will be the answer that could wash the slate clean."

Every days the same!
She fights to find her way!
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray.
She wonders why, does anyone ever hear her when she cries?

This is the dark before dawn.
The storm before peace.
Don't be afraid cause seasons change, and God is watching over you.
He hears you.

Every days the same!
She fights to find her way!
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray.
She'll be just fine, 'cause I know he hears her when she cries!

Every days the same!
She fights to find her way!
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray.
She'll be just fine, 'cause I know he hears her when she cries!

She'll be just fine, cause I know he hears her when she cries.

I finish and look at Malachi. "That was beautiful....but is it true?"

"The one thing I know Malachi,"I look to the window and see the pouring rain. I look back to him,"is that the pouring rain is like my tears."
