I should feel brave

I should be able to get up in front of the class.

I should be able to not worry about if I am talking too much.

Even though it was only a sentence.

Even though you were answering a question

Even though, they were only looking at you like they looked at everyone else.

Dear me,

Today in class, I ate breakfast, even though it was hard for me to eat in front of people. They were judging me. Once I finished it took me a while after I finished to throw away my trash. I should have went with it.

Then later on, the teacher asked me a question. I answered what I had written down but everyone looked at me. Like I said something wrong, they were judging me.

Why are they judging me? Is it because I got the answer correct? Why am I so scared to speak?

I should feel brave

I should be able to get up in front of the class.

I should be able to not worry about if I am talking too much.

Even though it was only a sentence.

Even though you were answering a question

Even though, they were only looking at you like they looked at everyone else.

Like you were a school mate.
