Chapter 9

*Craigs POV*

I woke up the next morning to the sound of yelling and slamming doors.

Not again.

"JUST GET OUT, THOMAS!!"

"YOU DONT HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE!"

I heard a door slam and my little sister started crying.

"What the hell is going on?!" I said coming down the stairs.

"Your father is going away for awhile–"

"MOMS A WHORE!!" My sister said, running up the stairs sobbing.

"RUBY!! Watch your mouth!!"

"What does she mean mom?" I said clenching my fist.

"She's just upset, don't–"

"No. What the fuck does she mean?!" I said raising my voice, feeling tears well up in my eyes.

"Language!!!" She said.

I couldn't take anymore. I pushed my mom up against the wall and repeated once again.

"WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE MEAN MOTHER??"

"OKAY OKAY!! I CHEATED ON YOUR DAD!! Now please let me go!!" My mom said trembling.

I let her go and felt my body go numb.

I flung open the door and ran until I couldn't run anymore. I stopped when I made it to Stark's Pond.

Why would she cheat on dad? What the fuck?

I sat down on a bench and put my head in my hands.

I started crying.

I don't usually cry, but I knew if I didn't, I would start throwing punches and hurt someone.

"Craig? Is that you?" I heard a voice say.

I sat up and quickly wiped my eyes.

God damn it. My reputation is going to be ruined!!

I looked at Stan and Kyle, hand in hand with worried looks on their faces.

"What's going on Craig? Are you okay?" Kyle said, them walking towards me.

"Um, yeah. I'm fine." I said in my monotone voice.

"That's not what it looked like thirty seconds ago. What's wrong Craig?" Stan said.

"Nothing okay, just drop it." I said, feeling my eyes sting again.

"Are you sure?" Kyle said raising his eyebrows.

"No I'm not. So much is going on you guys. So fucking much. Something happened yesterday with Tweek, and now my parents are–ugh, and I'm completely failing school. My life's fucking screwed up more than it usually is. I'm just so done with it all." I said, sitting there with a blank expression, feeling hot tears fall down my cheeks.

I honestly didn't even fucking care if anyone else saw me. I really didn't.

"Wow. W–what happened with Tweek?" Stan said looking surprised.

"He told his parents." I said, remembering yesterday.

"What did they say?" Stan asked.

"They seemed..disappointed. Not grossed out or anything. Kind of like they were going to disown him for being gay." I replied.

"Oh wow." Kyle said.

"Yeah. And I think they made him kind of break up with me in a way." I said, feeling my eyes sting more.
