Eleven - Trust

Anna's POV

"Anna? ANNA! Oh my God! Anna are you okay?" I hear Mario's voice say.

I rub my eyes and try to sit up, but fail. "What happened?" I mumbled.

"You passed out when you came in my room. I don't know why or how. One minute I'm hanging out with my friend Seth, the next you open my door, wearing your cutest outfit yet, and faint," he tells me.

"Seth... he... is he still here?" I ask attempting to sit up again, but failing yet again.

"No. He left a while ago. Why? What happened? Do you know him? Why'd you faint? Is he the reason?" Mario asked in one breath.

"Mario... please don't bring him back here..." I said nervously.

"Anna... what's wrong?" He asked.

I sighed, "Seth is my ex boyfriend. He, um... he tried to... um... he tried to... rape me..." I admitted.

"That jerk! I will pound him into the ground!" Mario said, somewhat angrily. He's just so sweet, it's hard for me to take him seriously when he's mad.

I giggled.

"What?" He asked smiling down at me.

"You make me so happy."

Mario leaned down and kissed me. Then left the room leaving me comfortably laying on his bed.

Mario's POV

As I went down stairs to get Anna some water, I couldn't help but feel guilty. Two months ago, I made a terrible mistake and hooked up with Isla. Isla, for once, felt bad about it too. The reason I was talking to that Seth guy, is because he is Isla's new boyfriend, and he wanted to know who I was.

When Anna walked into my room earlier, her eyes went from happy and confident, to sad and scared. Then she fainted. I saw Seth chuckle when Anna hit the ground. I immediately went to her side, not worrying about his rudeness, when Anna was more important.

Seth seemed like a cool dude, but I don't know him like Anna does so, I'm probably wrong. I trust Anna.

I just wish Anna could trust me. She thinks she can, but why should she when I can't even trust myself?

The guilt is eating me alive.

I've made my decision.

I'm telling Anna tonight.
