"Mario? Do you want to do something today?" I asked.

"Sure. Like what?" He asked.

"I... I kind of want to make some music," I admitted.

"Oh My God! Yes! Anna!!!" He picked me up and spun me around.

"I've kind of been wanting to do this for a while actually," I said.

"I'm happy about this. I've been thinking about making music too, and I think we should do a song together," he replied.

"Me too," I kissed his cheek. "You know we're making a lot of changes in our lives right now, and I believe that we will always be successful if we stick together."

"I couldn't agree more," he said.

Today our managers set us up a day at the recording studio together.

Our song is called "U Already Know" Mario is singing and I'm rapping.

"Oh My God Mario! That was amazing!" I squealed once we finished recording.

"I can honestly say, that was some of the most fun I've had in a while. And you know the best part?" He said.

"What?" I asked.

"I got to spend it with you," he said.

We were about to kiss, when a girl barged into the room.

"Are y'all almost done in here? My time starts in the next few minutes and I- wait... Mario?!" She said.

Mario looked the girl up and down trying to figure out how he knew her. Then it hit him, "Isla?!" He said shocked.

"Oh My God Mario! I haven't seen you in... like two years!" She said.

"Has it really been that long?" He asked.

They seemed extremely comfortable with each other.

I squeezed Mario's hand, and he did exactly what I hoped. Introduced me.

"Oh! Isla! This is my current girlfriend Anna! And Anna, this is my ex-girlfriend Isla," he said.

Worst case scenarios kept playing in my mind. I began building dislike and defense mechanisms towards this girl.

Isla smiled and said, "It's really nice meeting you Anna! Was it you I heard rapping from outside? You're fantastic!" She said.

Okay... I'm human... I enjoy a good compliment. But I still am on high alert. I can't lose Mario to his ex.
