Octavia/Lexa- Prom Au

Lexa smiled as Octavia and Bellamy walked out of their house. Bellamy was going stag with Lincoln and Octavia had turned down literally 5 invitations to go with Lexa which made the older girl happy. As Lexa watched Octavia walk out, she noticed the look on Lincoln's face as he noticed what Lexa had gotten instead of him. Clarke had turned Bellamy down to go with Raven who had been turned down by Octavia so she could go with Lexa who had been turned down by Clarke. Bellamy hugged Lincoln and then gave Lexa a look over before opening the door for the girls.

"Both looking lovely." Bellamy said and both Lexa and Octavia thanked him. "Very dapper Mr. Woods."

"As are you Mr. Blake." Lincoln said and Lexa rolled her eyes at her brother's antics. "Lexa spent an hour doing her hair this morning just to watch TV."

"At least I didn't take 4 hours to get ready to impress a girl that likes your sister." Lexa said and Octavia blushed slightly while Lincoln glared at her. "Besides it meant I only had to spend an hour getting this ready." Lexa motioned at her body. Her hair was in rings and her makeup was elegant, which meant less eyeliner than normal. All that was nothing compared to her dress, a dark grey with white towards the top and black at the bottom with her nice Vans on underneath.

"All this confusion because somebody likes Lexa. First you have to make Clarke fall for you, then my baby sister, and probably some other kids too. At least this time I'll get to dance with more girls." Bellamy said and Lexa smiled smugly at him. Like the Woods siblings, Bellamy and Octavia were both wearing semi matching clothes, Octavia's dress a light, almost glowing blue like the butterflies they saw at the park one day and Bellamy's tux a navy blue with a light blue tie and a white shirt. Lincoln had went with all grey, a black shirt, and white shoes.

"Well, I am just happy she agreed to take me." Octavia said and Lincoln smiled at his sister and then Lexa.

"You're cute together." Bellamy said before turning directly to Lexa. "No sex, she'll be in perfect condition when I pick her up tomorrow, and make sure you don't hurt her in any way."

"I promise to keep her safe Bell." Lexa said and Bellamy smiled before the limo stopped in front of Clarke's house. They all got out and Bellamy knocked on Clarke's door, Lexa and Octavia standing behind him.

"Bellamy, you look great." Clarke's mom said and Bellamy thanked her before walking inside to wait for his friends. Clarke was first to come downstairs, followed by Raven, both in golden dresses. "Alright, pictures."

"Octavia wait here for a second while I take a picture with Clarke like I promised." Lexa said kissing Octavia on the cheek and then walking towards Clarke. Clarke and Lexa took their pictures and then Clarke demanded that Octavia and Bellamy take pictures with her, making what was supposed to be a quick stop with a few pictures about an hour long meaning they'd eat when they got to Lexa's.

"Bell, you look great." Raven said and Bellamy nodded before opening the door for the women as they arrived at the school. "Thank you Mr. Blake."

"Anything Ms. Reyes." Bellamy said before paying for their tickets and following Lincoln to the bathroom for guy talk. Lexa and Clarke had found a table with enough empty seats for them to sit at. Octavia had glanced at the door every few seconds knowing Bellamy wanted to make sure he got a picture of Lexa and Octavia dancing for the first time during the prom. Of course to Lexa it seemed odd since she was sure that he could just get a picture of them later on, but it made sense to Octavia since she'd taken dancing lessons from him for a month leading up to prom.

"Hey little sister." Bellamy said sneaking up behind Octavia scaring her slightly. He got his phone out and made sure the lighting perfect before letting them dance to a slow song. Once the song was over Bellamy had Lexa film him dancing with Octavia and then Lincoln decided he had to dance with Lexa after Clarke got a turn.

"Alright, looks like we've got about an hour before the shut in starts, so you guys wanna go home and eat or should we stay for a bit?" Lincoln asked and they ended up leaving after Octavia got a dance with Lexa that didn't include Bellamy taping it for their mother.

"Alright, well my mother thinks I'll be in a hotel room with Clarke all night, so how about sleepover at Clarke's?" Lexa suggested and everybody agreed. Lexa smiled as Octavia let the older girl carry her to the parking lot before Bellamy picked her up and carried her to Clarke's which was about a mile away. They had met up with Monty and Jasper on the way over. Lincoln carried Lexa most of the way, Bellamy had Octavia, Monty carried Raven, and Jasper carried Clarke.

"My mom probably won't let this many people stay." Clarke said and Monty pointed to the house across the street from hers. "You guys can come over in the morning if you want."

"Monty and I are actually starting our little road trip tomorrow morning." Jasper said and pretty soon they were there and the girls had rushed upstairs to change while Bellamy made small talk with Mrs Griffin about his plans after high school.

"Octavia, I'm gonna stay here because I honestly don't trust Lexa and Clarke not to do something." Bellamy said and Lexa rolled her eyes before handing Bellamy the jersey he'd given Clarke to sleep in and Lincoln a shirt that has been passed around their group. They went to the little home theater that Lexa had become very familiar with during their little friends with benefits stage and put on Netflix. Bellamy and Lincoln had been given the couch, Octavia and Lexa had taken a little spot in the back with lots of privacy near the door, Raven took her designated spot in one of the cozy chairs, and Clarke decided to sleep near Octavia and Lexa.

"Ugh, Bellamy I can smell your Cologne from here." Clarke said and Bellamy flipped her off before pulling the blanket higher up his body. "Night guys."

"Night." Everybody said simultaneously. Octavia had her head buried in Lexa's neck with her arms wrapped around her waist. Lexa had a boyish figure, but there were some curves, but they were hidden by her clothes.

"Lex, are you awake?" Octavia asked and Lexa nodded. "Good." Octavia said before kissing Lexa. She knew it was risky since Bellamy was like, 10 feet away and Clarke was literally right against them.

"Octavia stop kissing Lexa." Bellamy and Clarke said in unison, earning a groan from both Lexa and Octavia. They kissed once more and Octavia dreamt of everything that happened that night, the dances, cuddling, and e fact that she'd just had her first kiss with Lexa. Lexa dreamt of what could have happened of Bellamy and Lincoln had went home, the inevitable talk that would occur about who she had feelings for and having to watch both Clarke and Raven's faces drop when she said Octavia.

Lexa knew in her heart that if things with Octavia didn't last, she'd have the memory of it and Clarke would be there. Clarke had pushed Lexa towards Octavia in the first place so why would she be mad if Lexa took her advice. Octavia didn't know what to call whatever it was that she felt for Lexa, but it made her happy and Bellamy would accept her, so she wouldn't have to be afraid. That night, both girl's fell asleep thinking about the other, not caring if it didn't work out in the end, but knowing that they'd both be better people because of each other.
