Two Days Later Kalani POV It's been two days since August and I got into that argument. We haven't spoke since . To be honest I don't miss him at all, I can't believe the way he treated me. "How this look?" Nat asks me while holding up a bodycon midi dress "cute I like it " I say while applying my fake lashes. Right now we're getting ready for the party Damon invited us to. Props to Si for talking me into it .
Doing a 360 in the mirror I pull out my phone to take a picture . Snapping a few , I post the best onto my Instagram . "I'll be ready in 10 okay!" I hear Nat yell from the bathroom . Yelling back I say okay , scrolling through my likes I see August was the first to like. Rolling my eyes I plug up my phone and put it on battery saving mode, to make sure I have a full charge. Just as I lock it I receive a text from Damon "looking good 😉🌝". He says referring to my picture. Him and I really have gotten close these past days. Smiling I unlock my phone and text him back "hopefully I'll say the same to you.😉" . Hearing the bathroom door open I hear Nat say "took shorter than I expected , but I'm done how I look?".
"Okay Natalie , who you trying to pull tonight ?"I say as I look at her outfit. "Hopefully a fine ass loyal ass man" she said laughing, while grabbing her purse . Standing up from the bed I grab my purse and make my way to the door. Tonight should be fun .

August POV Slipping my leather hat on I take a look in the mirror , boy looking good. Snapping a quick selfie I post it on Instagram with the caption being " Lil selfie action happening here 😂..Forever on the run " . Locking my phone I slip it into my back pocket as I wait for Chris slow ass . " alright I'm ready" he says as he comes out the bathroom brushing his hair . "About damn time" I say as I chuckle and grab my wallet . Taking out $20 ,I close it back and put it in my bedside drawer. "Aye call Kalani see if they need a ride " " nigga you real funny have you even been told you could be a comedian?" I reply back chuckling.
"Aug man you kind of the reason why y'all not talking , so I don't know why you're mad with her." He is right yes , but my pride is a lil too high to be even calling her . "Okay but I- " ," just call her man y'all haven't spoke in a few days she should of calmed down by now" thinking about it for a bit I suck my teeth and pull my phone off the charger and walk outside the door. "I'll be out there in a minute just let me find my keys" Chris yelled to me as he patted his pockets looking around . Dialing her number it begins to ring . "Yes ?" I hear her ask as she picks up the phone .
"Chris said do you guys need a ride...." I ask shoving my hands in my pocket "tell him were good but thanks" she replies back as I hear the line go dead . Blowing out my breath I run my hand across my face. Whatever she can stay mad.
10 minutes later Picking up my glass I laugh . " you so fucking stupid man" I hear Ronnie say as we all laugh at Chris standing on the table yelling . So far it's chill , Kalani and I still haven't talked let alone made eye contact but it's whatever. "This is my soooong!, " Serenity says as she stands up walking Chris to the dance floor . This is a pretty big house . I wonder who lives here . Snapping me out everybody starts to leave the table one by one to go dance . To make it even more awkward guess who was the only two people left? Correct . Correct .
