Tony's POV
I look down at my wrists and smile as the red beads begin to appear across where I drew my blade.
Worthless
Useless
Good-for-nothing
The voices won't stop. I don't try to stop them, I know they're right. I clean up my arms and put the blade away. I don't bother with getting changed I just fall into bed, preparing myself for another day of people shouting names, another day of not being good enough, another day of hell.
Mikes POV
"Get up! You're gonna make us late for our first day!" My brother yells as he bangs on the door. I clumsily fall out of bed and drag myself to the shower. I don't spend too long in there as we're already late. As I get out I look at the tall, lanky figure in the mirror. I run my fingers down my sides and feel my ribs. I'm gonna be made fun of, just like back in Rhode Island where we moved from. We moved because of my parents work. I wasn't too disappointed about the move - I never had many friends anyway, and the ones I did have weren't close. I've always been the quiet type, my opinion doesn't matter much, no-one cares what I have to say.
"MICHAEL FUENTES IF YOU MAKE US LATE ILL KILL YOU!"
I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Vic at my door again.
"I'm coming man! Geeze can't a guy take a shower round here without getting death threats from his own brother!" I hear Vic laugh outside and then i quickly throw on a Suicide Silence tshirt, black skinnies and my black vans. I finish it with a beanie, pick up my bag and meet Vic downstairs. We say goodbye to our parents get into the car.
We reach the school. There are a lot of people here, more than at our old school. I feel uncomfortable and begin shifting from foot to foot. Vic lays a reassuring hand on my shoulder and pats it
"Calm down man, this one will be different, I promise"he gives me an unconvincing smile and we walk to the gates
