"It seemed like you know her well, Jungkook." Bambam murmured to himself, but Jungkook heard him. He shook his head.

"I always pushed her away, for so long. I regret not getting to know her." His hand tightened over hers.

"Then don't regret anymore, Jungkook."

Both guys looked toward the doorway as they heard a third voice speaking.

Jimin was standing at the doorway. His expression was hard, not pleasing. His hands were in his jacket pocket. No one knew except for him that they were clenched hard on a first. There was a cut in his lips and a bruise beside his eyes.

It seemed like he was in a fight.

"Don't regret anymore, stop being a coward and tell her the truth." Jimin said through his tensed jaw.

"She is here, because I told her the truth." Jungkook snapped, turned to Jimin. In a blink of an eye, he was just a few centimeters away from him.

Jungkook examined Jimin's face clearly. He knew that Jimin wasn't the kind to fight anyone without a reason. "What happened?"

"Don't creep me out." Jimin took a few steps away, looking to the other side. "I'm taking care of things."

"What things, Jimin?"

"Let's talk outside." Jimin said, looking over Jungkook's shoulder, at Bambam.

Bambam shrugged. "I will take care of her till her mother arrive."

The boys made their way outside of the hospital building, until they found an empty bench to sit on. Jimin ran a hand through his face, before turning to look at Jungkook.

"Your game is in four days?"

"Yeah." Jungkook nodded.

"You better leave her alone, Jungkook. That guy Junhoe, he is a friend of Haneul." Jimin sighed. His legs kicked the ground. "He is in his training team. He knew everything."

"I know. He already threatened me." Jungkook sighed, looking up at the clear sky above them. It was dark and the stars filled the sky, yet it never was as beautiful as the countryside view.

"You knew that he is after Minyoung?" Jimin snapped, his voice started to get more annoyed.

Gulping, Jungkook nodded.

Out of the blue, Jungkook felt a fist crashing his face side. He stumbled a few steps backward as the pain shot in his jaw and he could taste rusted iron. He never saw it coming, Jimin was looking at him with disgusting look.

"And do you have a plan?" Jimin spat.

Jungkook shook his head and he was met with another punch in the face. He wasn't going to fight back. He deserved all of this.

"You don't have a plan?" A chuckle skipped his mouth, before groaning in frustration. "Now that Minyoung know, please leave."

"No." Jungkook spat the blood in his mouth, shaking his head

"No?"

"I will tell her what really happened ten years ago."

Jimin stood still for a moment, watching Jungkook regaining his balance. That guy was stronger that he couldn't imagine, yet he let him hit him without fighting back.

Jimin wondered if it was guilt that stopped him from crashing his face right now.

"Even though I know Minyoung well. I'm always by her side and never left her, every time she would choose you." Jimin started, surprising Jungkook. He looked up at the shorter guy, his mouth slightly opened.

Jimin didn't know what he was saying, but it felt right to tell Jungkook. "No matter how much she hated you, she would choose you. That's why she chooses to forget. She chooses you once again. If she forgot about her past, she would forget about what you have done and by this she chooses you one more time. Her heart would choose you no matter what. She will come to you."

"She won't."

"Believe me when I tell you she will. I have been her friend for ten years, I know it when she is in love with someone, else." He wore the saddest expression. His heart could burst any moment. Now he was slowly accepting that she would never look at him with the way he wanted her to.

~~

When Minyoung woke up, she was confused where she was. Everything around her was white on white. Looking around her, she realized that she was in a hospital, a tube connected to her arm and her mother.

She was sleeping beside her. Her head lay on the edge of the bed, and her hand was holding hers.

She didn't know what time it was or how many hours she was lying here in this bed. She felt bad for seeing her mother like this beside her, she must have been worried about her too much.

"Mom..." She reached for her face and smoothed away a few hair strands away from her face.

Her mother steered and opened her eyes slowly. She was a light sleeper. Finding Minyoung awake, her mother jumped to her feet. Her eyes flashed with worries.

"Minyoung." She smiled, and Minyoung could notice the tears in her eyes. "Thanks god you're awake. I was scared you wouldn't wake up like last time."

Minyoung reached for her mother's hand and smiled at her, shaking her head. "I won't do this ever again."

"You do nothing but saying you won't do this again. I got enough of you." Her mother cursed her under her breath and glared at her.

Minyoung chuckled, knowing that her mother wouldn't ever change as her mother threw her arms around her and pulled her in a hug.

Breathing her mother's smell, Minyoung felt at ease.

All her negative thinking were gone and suddenly an idea popped up in her mind that would end all the suffering of her mother and her own too.

Hugging her mother tightly, Minyoung patted her back. "Mom, let's leave Seoul."

"Huh?" Her mother pulled away and looked at her daughter puzzled.

"I want to study abroad, let's leave."

Minyoung's mother froze for a moment, before nodding. She cupped Minyoung's face in her hands, rubbing her cheeks with her thumb.

It was the best solution for the both of them to leave the past behind. It would need for them to forget about her oldest son, but she knew better that she didn't wish to lose her daughter too.

"Let's do it."

To be continued...
