Why is he calling me again?

I told him multiple times not to, but look what I see.

I sigh and ignore it, falling back to my bed starring at my ceiling.

Maybe I should give my father another chance, after all everyone deserves second changes...

That saying is true but my father does not deserve it.

For his cruel behaviour to me.

My phone stops ringing as the quietness of my room over comes me.

I sigh. It isn't often I hear pure silence.

It's actually quite calming-

"GARROTH! DID YOU EAT THE LAST COOKIE?!" Bellowed a voice from upstairs.

"What? NO! LAURENCE ATE IT!"

"WHY YOU ALWAYS GOTTA BLAME IT ON ME GARROTH?"

-Never mind.

I've made my decision.

I'm going to London.

This is a once in a life time chance, that I can't pass up.

No matter what what.

Besides the doctor said that its only a minor problem so a week won't change anything. I'm sure.

"Katelyn!"

I turn and see Travis facing me.

I blink a couple times. Oh right, I am at the ice cream shop again.

"Your spacing out again. Something wrong?"

"Everything is fine! I just, didn't get enough sleep last night" I explain, which isn't totally a lie since I did have a hard time sleeping last night.

All that happened to me recently, is troubling me.

He does his signature smirk. "Well if your tired then you can always lean on my shoulder and fall asleep."

I punch his arm lightly. "Pfft, you wish."

"But it's really great that the sickness you have is minor. I was really getting worried." He smiled.

I smile back weakly. "Yeah..."

I'm a horrible friend.

"So, you going to London right?"

I nod. "I'm so excited!"

"Don't forget to face time me, every day"

"Of course of course!"

He looks at his watch and exclaims

"Our work shift already ended. So I guess this is a good bye until next week?"

"Yeah. I'll miss you though!"

"I'll miss you more."

"No, I will"

"I will miss you more then anyone else has ever missed someone!"

I laugh. "Alright"

We stare at each other while standing in front of the ice cream store.

"See you, Travis-"

Before I got to finish what I was going to day he went up to me and kissed me on the cheek.

"See you Katelyn"

I blush as I start to walk away from him.

I'm sorry Travis.

I really am.
