You had your feet on the desk. You were only in the detention room to cool down. You weren't in trouble but the teacher told you to step out to cool down. You had your hands crossed behind your head and your eyes closed. Your breathing was steady and the room was quiet. Luke wasn't in the room just yet. You caught him leaving to go to the teacher's lounge. Probably to go print papers or hang out with other teachers who are on break. After about twenty minutes, you hear the door open and opened one eye and saw Luke come in.
"I see you returned Luke" You say, making him chuckle
You smile and continue to relax. You both would occasionally make small talk but other than that, it was silent. A good silent. You still had more periods in the day so you had to leave when the third bell rang.
~~~Second Bell~~~
"Hey (Y/N)" Luke said and it sounded like he had something on his mind
"Yes?" You asked, your eyes still closed
"You're not legally an adult yet are you?" He asked, and you opened your eyes
"17, so no" You say and he looked like he was thinking, putting his chin on a water bottle

"What's on your mind?" You asked
"Nothing" He shook his head
"Luke you can tell me" You say
"It's nothing you should worry about" He said and before you knew it, the third bell rung
