hey, (f/n)-chan! i'm really sorry but i probably won't be able to talk to you for the next few days and maybe even weeks! the spring tournament is coming up soon and all of us really need to practice because there's this team called aoba johsai who beat us at the last tournament and it was really spirit diminishing, especially for hinata and kags, and we really want to win this time because it's the third-years' last tournament in high school. but after we win and go to nationals, we can spend all the time in the world talking i promise ❤️❤️❤️

Even though she hated to admit it, (f/n) did feel a little uneasy without Nishinoya talking to her everyday. She understood that he was being mindful of the third-years who would be leaving soon, but she still missed him.
When her parents started fighting again, she re-read all of their messages and soon calmed down again, but it didn't work every time.
Nishinoya still updated his story with quick snaps from volleyball practice but one day he updated a ten second snap of just a black screen with the words "missing my girlfriend so much 😭❤️" that made (f/n) burst into tears.
She couldn't help it and posted a ten second snap just like Nishinoya's but with the words "my boyfriend really is the sweetest 😭❣" which made a lot of her in real life friends curious.
(f/n) hadn't told anyone apart from her mother about her's and Noya's relationship so when she was forced to tell people in real life, a shitstorm ensued.
People weren't unaccepting of their relationship but they were definitely judgemental. And that was when (f/n) found herself missing Nishinoya even more because he would tell her that it doesn't matter what other people think. As long as they were happy then that's all that mattered.
She kept telling herself that and had no trouble believing it, but being without Nishinoya just made her so darn insecure.
