Gage's POV:

"I don't see why you can't do it though; you did it before haven't you?" Gage asked looking at Gene who was just finishing with cleaning the top of the counter top that they'd used to clean Tim's wounds. "You can't argue that it'd be best if he just forgot all of this."

"Best for whom?" The old skinwalker asked in a sharp tone as he looked up at Gage burning holes into him with those dark brown eyes of his. Despite him being a Devil and seemingly growing stronger every day, Gage couldn't help but feel slightly intimidated by this man something about him just didn't sit right with him. "Have you thought about what Greg would want? How about Tim, what would he want Gage? Tell me."

When Gage could offer nothing new to his argument other than what he's already said Gene just scoffed and continued cleaning the countertop. "I couldn't do it to him even if I wanted to anyway. I've tried to wipe his memory already Gage but he has something within him that's stopping the process. Something that I don't even know about so I cannot and don't ask me about it again you hear me?"

Gage let out an angry growl but said nothing more on the subject as he walked into the living room where Tim still lay in a deep sleep. He looked so peaceful lying there and he just couldn't help but think of the boy's brother who was still no doubt asleep in the cellar. Both of them had just been through one hell of an ordeal, and Gage had no doubt that it was only going to get harder for them both as time went on.

Both of them must be absolutely exhausted after what they'd been through. Greg returning to them after over a month with Logan and now having to deal with his Devil half beginning to stir within him and actually hijacking the boy's body for a time and it's no wonder Greg looked so terrible. But then there was Tim, the poor kid lost his only brother for such a long time and to be reunited with him only to see the Devil side of him come through. Gage had no doubt whatsoever that Tim will be traumatized by the sight of his older brother like that for some time, plus he'd been in a car crash that'd absolutely shredded his back.

Those scars will be with him for the rest of his life, Gage thought as he sat in the recliner beside Tim. He was too young to have gone through such things, hence why Gage brought up the idea of Gene wiping out his memory the same way he'd done to that Kathy girl way back when. Gage knew about that because, as Greg's Watcher he inherited almost all aspects of his being including his memories so that he could become the best Watcher he could be for Greg. He also knew that the only reason that someone couldn't have their memory wiped was because something unnatural would have to interfere. So what could be wrong with Tim Gage wondered, as far as he could tell the kid was completely normal and Greg had no memories of strangeness about his kid brother.

Maybe it had to do with all the time he'd spent with Kyle, maybe he somehow got mixed up with the guy and he did something to him. The thought of that guy doing anything to Tim made Gage feel unreasonably angry and he could actually feel the skin on his hands begin to break as he clenched his fists. Another effect of Gage's bound with Greg was that he had some of the same lesser feelings about certain people as he did such as being protective over Tim or a slight disliking for Sixx. Gage even had a very odd love interest in both Sonya and Flannery which he was constantly trying to play off by being as pervy as possible whenever he could, it gave him a chance to satisfy some of those feelings while keeping at arm's length.

Gage's attention was brought back to Tim when the boy began to stir and before he knew it the boy was beginning to lift himself up. "Hey, hey slow down there kid," Gage said in a soft voice as he slowly and gently pushed Tim back down onto his stomach. "Easy there we can't have you moving too much, you're hurt. Now what do you want, a glass of water, something to eat or-"
