-The bustling town market of Rahmanus, merchants and townsfolk haggle for a bargain, the smell of raw fish, fresh baked goods, smouldering metals and a crisp morning breeze fills diverse bazaar. Enter Prince Clyde Arrowny examining various stalls, he is a well-built young man of medium stature, dirty blonde hair, dark green eyes and is dressed in royal attire, –
Honourable Merchant: Good morrow young & noble Prince Arrowny! It is an honour as usual to be graced by your presence!
[The Honourable Merchant bows low out of sincere respect offering Clyde his choice of bread from the Bread Bin aside his feet]
Clyde Arrowny: Enough with the formalities, you know they discomfort me. I'm just like you, we both serve a purpose for this kingdom.
[Clyde takes a fresh loaf littered with pumpkin seeds before placing several silver coins in the Honourable Merchant's withered palm]
Honourable Merchant: Not that I am one to question the Young Lord but I thought you had a particular distaste for seeds & dried fruit, would not a more simplistic taste interest you more?
Ah! My apologies, allow me to fetch your change.
Clyde Arrowny: Let's just say I'm dropping it off to somebody! As for the change, you know I do not accept things gratis from the merchants. Why not call it an early day instead?
[Clyde winks at the merchant giving off a slight grin whilst pushing his hand aside containing the change]
Honourable Merchant: Glory be the Young Prince! May God bless you and forever reward your munificence, Faram.
Clyde Arrowny: God bless, Faram.
[Exit Clyde Arrowy as he travels through the working class residence area, stopping at a small house surrounded by large coniferous pine trees that connect with the forest clearing]
Clyde Arrowny: [aside] Every time I come here, my heart feels as if it has dropped a few thousand feet, I ask myself over and over is it just her? Or is it how close she lives to that wretched forest...
[Clyde gently knocks on the door where he is greeted by a young lady of similar age, she has long black hair that transforms into thick curls at the ends, blue eyes full of happiness, pale yet clear skin and a gentle smile, she wears a grey and white Victorian dress that is slightly stained with fireplace soot and cooking oil]
Bonnie: Beloved! I was beginning to fear you weren't going to show up today, Father isn't home but I've been working hard to prepare dinner before you both arrived!
[Clyde embraces Bonnie with a hug, his heart is racing at an unusual and unsteady pace]
