I saw that your driveway has one less car in it now. Did something happen?

I hope everything’s alright.

But anyway, I saw Mark today. He has to go back to school in a week and he’s freaking out.

He started crying when he saw me.

“Sub.”

I felt tears welling in my eyes.

“Yeah?”

“I don’t want to go back there.”

He took my hand and I stood next to him while he cried in his hospital bed.

“I know. I don’t either.”
